When the best night of your life turns into your worst nightmare.This book is such a page-turner.I did not know what to expect diving into the Misdeeds of a Billionaire, but it wasn't an angsty enemies to lovers with a single mom giving the hero a second chance. I definitely was not expecting some MFM action.Odette has always dreamed of following in her father's footsteps of becoming a doctor. However, she wants to let her hair down and do something spontaneous by hooking up with two guys for a one-night stand. This quickly backfires and the morning after she's threatened, with tragedy striking soon after.I absolutely love reading books with heroines who are resilient despite the hand life has handed them.Odette and Byron are just perfect for each other. The storytelling in the book is enchanting. flowedows well and kept me engaged. I could not put down this book, not even for a bathroom break, because I needed Odette and Byron to find their way back to each other and have their HEA.Byron isn't an obnoxious bully. He's level-headed, caring, commanding, unassuming, and generous. Which is refreshing. Odette is ambitious, assertive, courageous, and fearless. She's perfect!I was invested in these characters from the first chapter, especially with the chemistry between coming off the page.

Byron has popped up in other books of Eva's and so I've been eagerly awaiting his story, though his life is technically not in the mafia world he has ties to them through his family and friends. I really liked Madeline as a character after all she went through she definitely deserved her HEA.I will say this story felt a lot like Luciano and Alessio's stories in a lot of ways but I still loved Byron and Madeline together their chemistry was definitely instant and I'm glad all the lies finally came to light.Madeline had treated many patients in her dads small hospital but none quite like the patient she walks into find. Byron Ashford isn't your typical Billionaire there is definitely darkness in his past but Madeline is all light and his obsession is almost instant, he has to have her if only for a night before he returns back to the states. Sharing isn't anything new to Byron and though he lures her in granting her wish of a menagé he's not sure he can go through with it because the thought of another man's hands on her drives him insane even if he trusts River with his life. Their chemistry is off the charts and neither think one night will ever be enough but when Madeline wakes the next morning it's another man entirely. Senator Ashford, Byron's father. He gives her an ultimatum leave and never look back or he'll destroy everything she knows and loves. She runs without looking back but Byron never forgets the woman who stole his heart with just a look. Years later when their paths cross Byron isn't so willing to let her go a second time, he let her push him away before but this time he won't budge he'll have Madeline as his one way or another. Madeline has kept some secrets from him over the years but after what his father took from her senator Ashford was not someone she was willing to cross again. But when Byron finds out why she ran from him twice his wrath will be felt from all corners of the world and God help anyone who gets in his way.Possessive Mafia men having nothing on Byron Ashford.Definitely Recommend Reading 📚

You will fall hard for Byron if you haven’t already in previous books. Byron and Odette are pure fire together. Has just enough angst to drive you crazy. But so many sweet moments too along with the whole I’ll protect her with my life and touch her and die vibe you crave from an Eva book. No doubt if you have loved any other books by Eva that you’ll love this one too

I think I had different expectations of Byron going in after reading Alexei & the 1st book of Billionaire kings. They also hinted at a different female love interest so it threw me off for the first 25% of the book. Other than that it was good, but not my favourite Winners story.

I adore Eva’s writing and was so excited for this release.The book has good and I finished it within less then 24 hours. I personally don’t tend to like the instant love or miscommunication tropes which this book has and I felt like the characters and story didn’t really have a major development which was because i loved Byron and was excited for this story.They were never enemies at any point so the enemies to lovers was a little miss leading. I’m still super excited for the rest of the series though!I’m hoping either Billie and Winston or Royce’s book is next.
