I love this particular Smartwool style - it is a nice balance of warmth and cushioning with snug support that I find very comfortable and practical. Even skiing in Minnesota I find the medium weight too thick - they were thick enough that they don't fit in my ski boots, while these light weight ones are warm and comfortable. Excellent quality, as always. While I like the light gray and aqua colorway, I would really like a few more color options.

Bought these for New York City in early March and they were perfect.We had weather ranging from mid 20’s-mid 40’s; we even had a snow storm while there and these socks worked great.My feet did not sweat on the warmer days but stayed toasty warm on the cold, wet, snowy days. Supportive but not too tight. Definitely worth the money!

Comfortable, warm, durable and well cushioned. This sock is perfect for winter weather. It breathes and wicks away moisture so my feet stay dry all day. I bought a size up since I was concerned about shrinkage after washing. It fits very well. Highly recommended! I really like this brand!

My dermatologist recommended these because I developed a condition that requires me to keep my feet warm. I was worried about allergic itching because I have a hard time with wool generally. They didn't cause any itching for me. I also like that they a thin. I put my athletic socks under them when I go hiking on colder days and because they are nice and thin, it doesn't feel uncomfortable or make my shoes feel tight. They wash and dry just like regular socks.

These are awesome socks. Smart wools are definitely more expensive but they will change your life! So comfy and you won't get blisters. They keep your feet cool when needed as they wick moisture. Also keep your feet warm in the winter. I don't wear anything else anymore

I have owned Smart Wool socks for 20 years and the quality is excellent. I was looking to replace my worn-out hiking socks that are probably 10 years old. This sock design is very unique, with great forethought as to be non-chafing, smooth, and no friction where seams come together. Great fit and snugness. No falling down in the boot. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is that they simply were not warm enough on their own. I live in the damp cold Pacific North West and even though temperature lows are in the 40's, these just didn't compare warmth-wise to the old pairs. I tried them with 3 different pairs of shoes/boots and they did an ok job. It could be that my feet just get colder now that I'm in my 60's !!!!!! You may find them to be perfect for you. Definitely love the fit and design!

We have cold winters in MN and that calls for warmer clothing. These smart wool socks keep my feet cozy in the lowest temperatures. Sometimes wool clothing can cause itching so bad that I can't even wear what I bought. Not a problem with these socks. They fit snug but are not tight. These socks are really comfortable and I want a drawer full of them.

Die Socken sind klasse! Ich friere schnell und oft, die Socken halten aber wirklich gut warm, besser als andere Wollsocken. Sogar wenn die Füße schwitzig werden, bleibts recht warm. Bisher auch super beim langen Laufen. Größe S für 37er Schuhgröße optimal.

Die Socke ist hervorragend gefertigt . Sie paßt sich dem Fuß gut an u. verrutscht nicht . Auch nach längeren tragen entsteht kein Geruch . Ich habe Fußgröße 39 u. diese Socke in M bestellt . Paßt perfekt . Männer können also diese Socke genauso tragen . Die Farbe Lichtgrau gefällt mir sehr gut . Ich finde es sehr gut das die Merinowolle von Farmen kommt , die auf Tierschutz achten .

Bought these socks for walking 80 miles on The Great Glen Way recently - so glad I did! The most comfortable socks I've ever worn. A great fit (I'm size 5 and the medium fit perfectly). Not too warm (in May), seam free & wonderfully cushioned (no blisters at all), wicking & quick drying (its Scotland - it rained ALOT) and they didn't pong at all! Super impressed so will be buying lots more for The West Highland Way!
