Crisp Optics and Durability Make These My Go-To Binoculars
As an avid outdoor enthusiast, having a reliable pair of binoculars is a must. After testing out numerous pairs over the years, these 7x50 porro prism binoculars have become my go-to for their excellent optics and durable design. The generous 50mm objective lenses allow ample light transmission for bright, crisp images. The 7x magnification provides a nice balance of magnification power while keeping a wide field of view. The bak-4 prism design further enhances resolution. What really makes these binoculars stand out is the crisp clarity they deliver across the entire field. Even at the outer edges, images remain distortion-free. This allows me to easily track birds and wildlife.I also appreciate the durable, weather resistant housing. The rubber armor coating provides a secure, anti-slip grip. For anyone seeking high-quality porro prism binoculars perfect for outdoor adventures, I highly recommend this pair. The excellent optics and ruggedness has made them my go-to for years of lasting enjoyment. They deliver superb quality at an affordable price point.

Good affordable set of porro prism binos. Missing neck strap and the eyecup cap is damaged.
First thing to note. This set was supposed to come with a neck strap. This is mentioned in the product photos, product description and in the product documentation you receive with the binoculars. My bino did not include one. A big selling point of this particular set of my nose is that it's a one-shop stop and a neck strap is a critical component to protecting your optics. I have extras lying around so it's not a huge deal for me personally, but they promised to include one and it was not. Additionally the eyecup cap appears to be damaged. Which wouldn't be a major problem on its own but the cap itself is poorly designed and doesn't really grab on to the eyecaps very well so it's practically useless. For those reasons I took off a couple of stars. With that bit of housekeeping out the way. This set includes a simple semi-rigid carrying case, instructions, and a cleaning cloth. There are also pre-installed objective lens caps and the aforementioned caps for the eyecups. The carrying case is a nice touch but it's more for storage it doesn't provide any meaningful impact protection. The documentation was poorly translated but comprehensive. I suggest you give it a read through. The star of the show of course is the binos themselves. These use a porro prism lens system specifically BAK-4 prisms which are considered to be the best of the prism options. The lens system gives these binos an excellent field of view and image clarity. I was really impressed with the image quality from a pair of budget glass. They don't compare to some of the high-end stuff that I have access to at work (outdoor instructor who often works on contract with hunting organizations) but for the price I'm very impressed. But you should also be aware of the limitations of porro. They're clunky and not particularly durable compared to other options. At the time of writing this review, these 7x porro prism binos are sharing a listing with a 10x roof prism bino. So obviously you're getting a set of binoculars that have lower magnification and are much larger, heavier and not as durable. But the trade-off is you have better image quality and increased field of view. Personally I think it's a fair trade-off and I'm quite happy with this set but before purchasing be mindful of what you need.Overall I think these are a great budget set of binos. It's a good option for a loaner pair or backup. I also think it could be a good starter kit. They're cheap enough that they're worth giving a try and hopefully you're set does come with the promised neck strap and better quality lens caps.
