I was at my wits end with my itchy dog. His Cyto-point shot wasn't helping and a friend told me about this product.His itching has improved significantly! Great product at a great price!

Until recently my dog had recurring & persistent furunculosis (deep infection between the toes with oozing boils - nasty, very painful - brutal for a high energy dog. We tried everything - raw food, the best food (no grains, potatoes, etc.), months of antibiotics of a few different kinds, thyroid supplements, vitamins, twice daily foot soaks in epsom salts & disinfectants, etc. Very frustrating and heartbreaking, not to mention time consuming. Eventually, my vet prescribed this. Nothing was working until we got about 1/2 way through the first jar of this. We are near the end of the jar and his feet have been clear for about a month now. Such a relief!! Keeping our fingers crossed and ordering another jar. Also have him on cranberry supplements which are a natural antibiotic, but since he was still breaking out while on antibiotics, the cranberries are probably not what's helping.Other people complain their dogs do not like it, but at first I mixed it with plain yogurt or cottage cheese - at first he clearly didn't like it either, but he ate it. Now he has acquired a taste for it and will drink it mixed with just plain water. Other people also commented on diarrhea - I didn't notice that, but we also give our dog probiotics and that helps with digestive upsets. Whatever your dog needs that has brought you to this - don't give up too quickly, and good luck.Update: We are now ordering our 3rd jar and sticking with this. We lapsed with the thyroid meds for a week over the holidays and the boils starting coming back even though we kept up with this and other vitamins. Prior, the thyroid meds alone did not work, and now appears the mushroom matrix alone does not work. However together, we seem to have found a winning combination.

I had no issues with my dog still eating his food with this added. However, I did also always add omega oil, which probably helped with the taste. No bad reactions. Quality brand name. I think it may have legitimately helped with his itching, but who knows if it was actually the mushrooms. Nonetheless, good product.

I was recommended this product from a friend and I'm surprised it worked. We got a Covid puppy last year and shortly after we got her we noticed her itching all over constantly. Haven't figured it would yet what really caused it but we're thinking possibly the grass, as her other siblings also have itchy problems and their vets are puzzled but thinking grass. It took some time for this mushroom powder to work, for our dog maybe a month or more, so be patient with it as it doesn't work over night. We give her two scoops a day, she's 70lbs+, sprinkle it on her food morning and night and then drizzle a little water over it, mixing it into her food. She gobbles it right up so she must like the taste. I had tried several different shampoos to help the itching and nothing seemed to work until this, so I HIGHLY recommend it!

I buy a lot of supplements for my sick cat, including mushroom. I cannot in good conscience leave a positive review, this product has a strong smell of mildew.

Bought this for my poor allergy prone pooches. Doubled up the dosage as per vets instructions and itching was gone in approx 4 days. My furkids finally had relief! It worked better for my kids that the cytopoint shot which I am not a fan of any type of synthetic drug in my kids. It has been a month now and they are on a regular dosage and still doing great. My kids fur coats were always soft and beautiful so I did not see a change in their fur but their skin is not hot and irritated any longer. Highly recommend giving it a shot if you have furkids with environmental allergies or seasonal.

I snuck it in every way I could but she did not want it and would linger around until she was super hungry before she ate it. It did not help her coat and after a little over a week I changed food and am going down a different path.

I started my dog on this medicinal mushroom supplement one month ago- did the double dose as recommended for three weeks, and now is giving the regular dose daily. My dog is picky so I fill empty vegan capsules with the powder and give him as pills. It is not a tiny amount but since this is a whole food supplement, you really can't expect too small of a serving.I think it has helped with his mild itching and skin rash from allergies. Highly recommend that you give this high quality product a try for any skin related issues.
