For me, the instructions are more difficult than any Lego that I have built.

The media could not be loaded. My daughter is named Odette after the ballet character from swan lake. Her room is decorated swan themed and I frequently get her swan related toys and such. When I came across this I HAD to give it a try. She is four now and this was her first "Lego" set. I built it for her, but she sat by me the whole time. It was a fun and easy build. Quality is just as good as Lego, instructions are clear and easy to follow. The hinge piece on the swans that folds in order for the book to fold kept popping off so I super glued it. No big deal since I don't want her to take it apart anyway, this will be a decoration in her room. We have enough play Legos so I want this to stay together! Highly recommend! I'll probably check out some other sets by this company since this was such a good price!

I made this for a friend and they thought it was an official Lego set. The pieces are super small, so be ready for that :)

Let me start by saying that I got this as a present for my wife, and she loves it.That said, while it's a cool design, it's not really robust enough to stand up to much actual use. Nearly every time I try to open it, the "swan" mechanism breaks. As a result, we pretty much just leave it open all the time.It's not a super unique concept (I've seen other similar designs), but I've not attempted to put any of those together to see how they compare from a sturdiness perspective.The bricks themselves seem pretty standard. I've experienced much worse bricks, but they don't quite match the name-brand fit and finish (but they don't come with a name-brand price tag, so there's that...

This bricks build is quite fun. It opens like a pop up story book. My son had it put together within a couple of hours. It would be a very cool gift box to present a ring to someone who likes Legos. Replacing the ring with a real one in the box would be an adorable way to propose to the right person! The book very cleverly pops up the swans and the ring box. It does tend to break pieces loose if moved around a lot, but its not difficult to hook them back together.

This is a nice pop-up book building block set. It’s pretty neat and I think it the book and looks cute once completed.
