A bit expensive
This is a bit pricey but an interesting product. I don't wear any make up normally but I do get some redness on occasion so something like this I thought would be great to color correct without needing to wear heavier make up since this is marketed as a serum. You have to smush the green globes to release the pigment. I think a very light layer is all I could do without wearing makeup because more than that it definitely looks like I have something on my face. A very light layer does seem to do a bit of color correcting without needing foundation or concealer. If you normally wear makeup I think this would be a great base.

Trash
The worst and most ill mixing primer or makeup product I have used to date, DO NOT BUY THIS PRIMER! The green beads do not mix.

Good Product
Moisturizes well, fun to use, looks great under cream or foundation.

Difficut to use
I did not like it. You have to know how to mix it. I prefer something that it is ready to use not something that I have to work hard to make it work. I bought it for the reviews, it does not even give you good coverage.

Jane Iredale HydroPure - A Good Product, but Not a Very Good Value
Jane Iredale HydroPure is a really good, effective product, and it does a good job with hydration, but the price is a bit much for the size of the product. It's not a very good value. I do like the tint; it does tone down redness a bit.

Solid product from Jane Iredale, not heavy
This is a solid addition to the Jane Iredale line of makeup products. I really like the way they feel and the formulations are usually quite nice. This is a green-tinted color correcting serum for skin redness. You pump a bit onto your fingers, rub it together to combine the tint with the serum, and put it on your skin. It's not a very heavy serum and actually feels quite nice going on. It gives you a hydrated feeling. It's very light and for me is subtle in the color correcting of some rosacea on my cheeks. What I didn't like was that the tint and the serum don't actually want to combine. It looks grainy in your hand as you're mooshing it together, but thankfully doesn't appear on your face as grainy or streaky in any way.

A little goes a long way, or you'll look too white/green
This jane iredale HydroPure Color Correcting Serum is best used in a small amount and with a powder or cream foundation over it. I don't regularly use either of those, but I had hoped the color correction would help with just my daily tinted moisturizer. It is ok this way. It's amazing how much of a shift just a little bit makes on my skin. I look a bit too white with a green tint. So, this takes practice to get it just right and balanced. If your skin is too ruddy, this is worth a try! Recommend!!
