1 year update review: STILL SO IN LOVE WITH THIS!The small card pocket zipper is not reliable. The water bottle pockets are not comfortable or easy to place a normal sized water bottle into. I use it for other small items such as hand sanitizer and portable charger access. Same with the front two pockets. I keep small items into them to keep it slim.The space itself has gotten me through several weekend trips! The fold too adds so much more space. Fits 3 outfits including 2 jeans, pair of shoes, pajamas, 2 toiletries bag, 1 medium sized electronics bag, light blanket, snacks, and etc. I pack my 32oz waterbottle by adding a caribiner to the sunglasses strap as shown in the video. Love the easily accessible zipper pocket to the laptop section. Have never had problems with water resistance and this backpack has gone with me over 20 trips around the world in the last year. Comfortable and sleek. Fits perfectly under airplane seats if needed! Spirit flights approved even when full. No malfunctions so far aside from the card pocket.Original review when buying:Exceeded my expectations. It’s much larger than it seems in other reviews and the photos.It is indeed water repellant but not 100%. I would be skeptical to stand in the rain waiting at the bus station but would be okay running through the rain for a couple of minutes. Nothing a good poncho over it can’t fix while standing around.Just enough pockets! Most backpacks have too many pockets. Not my style. I just need good space. This one is easy.I love the easy access to the laptop section from the back. Though, I find my other things falling out from that hole when it’s opened. Just be mindful of your angle when that back pocket is open.I almost bought a diaper bag since most travel and work backpacks were either too bulky or too many pockets. This is perfect. Great for personal item during travel as well.Buyer beware: the fold top is not as nice as it shows in the pictures when the backpack is pretty empty. If that doesn’t bother you then you’ll love this.

I recently purchased the HOMIEE 30L Travel Backpack, and while it serves its purpose adequately, there are a few aspects that left me somewhat disappointed. Firstly, the backpack's rigidity does not match what is depicted in the Amazon photos. This was a letdown as I expected a sturdier build.One of the design choices that left me puzzled was the opening at the top, which is reminiscent of a sailing bag. However, despite this design feature, the backpack does not seem to be very waterproof. It would have been better if the manufacturer had prioritized water resistance considering the sailing bag aesthetic they were aiming for.Furthermore, there is a set of zippers that opens into the same compartment, which I found redundant. It would have been more practical to have a dedicated pocket for smaller items such as glasses or keys. This would have helped with organization and quick access to essentials.On a positive note, the backpack is reasonably priced, and it does fulfill its basic function as a travel backpack. It offers a decent 30L capacity, which is suitable for day trips or short journeys. The material used feels durable, and the overall construction is satisfactory.In conclusion, the HOMIEE 30L Travel Backpack is an okay choice considering its price. However, it falls short in terms of rigidity compared to the advertised photos, lacks effective waterproofing, and could benefit from improved design engineering. If you're looking for a basic travel backpack without high expectations, this might suffice.

I had a really wonderful large leather backpack, but it was stolen in the Rehab Hospital where I am trying to heal. I wasn't about to invest that kind of money again.I came across the HOMIEE 30L and thought it was perfect! When I received the backpack from Amazon, I was actually dumbfounded at how large and heavy the item was. It was a very pleasant surprise! The backpack has several pockets. It will hold my laptop and clothes for a weekend getaway to my family's house. I believe it's roomier than some duffel bags I have used in the past. This is by far, one of my best purchases made on Amazon. I highly recommend!!

It fits my table tripod perfectly

Great for grocery runs or any other task that needs much-carrying capacity. It has many pockets so that it can be used for multiple functions. Hidden zippers for those who use it for traveling. The only tip is to move the back zippers to the side and not in the middle so they don't open when carrying many items.

I really love this backpack. The padding for the laptop/tablet area is good and the shoulder straps are thick and wide.There are two things that you might not like, however. First, the side pockets for water bottles is very tight and might not work if the main compartment is packed. Second, putting a laptop inside the pocket will make it slightly difficult to put wider things in the main compartment, eg a DSLR.

Quality of material is very poor and bag looks nothing like the display

The item itself is fine, but I specifically bought it because the pictures showed an elastic as part of the water bottle / umbrella side pockets. This item doesn't have that feature, nor are the pulls leather they're fabric (which is fine but is another difference).
