The jars themselves are fine. They’re sturdy, easy to hold if you use them as drinkware, easy to clean. The lids aren’t really leak proof for me (I bought the 13 oz version with the metal lug lids) but they’re fine for most types of dry food storage and they’re fine for storing food items in the fridge. My biggest complaint is that the promotional info here on Amazon says “shipped securely”, and when it comes to glass of course we can only hope the seller takes proper precautions but these are packed side by side with only a thin layer of cardboard separating them. There was a layer of bubble wrap *outside* that box and it was placed in a slightly larger box, which is fine, but the thin layer of cardboard separating each individual jar was not enough to protect them from bumps and jolts en route, and one of them arrived with several cracks. Two others have suspicions looking marks that *might* be cracks, or cracks just beginning to form. They might also just be imperfections/ faults in the glass, but I don’t know if I want to take my chances. So to recap, these are nice jars, but in my experience they aren’t leakproof, and can’t be used for canning or for anything that requires an airtight seal. With that in mind they are really expensive for what they are. I’m tempted to take my chances on another batch, just to have a complete set of 6 (and a few spares) but at this point I’m just not sure it’s worth the risk and the high cost.If I had it to do over again, I’d stick to ordinary Mason/Ball jars. They get the job done just as well (far better if you need them for canning), you can find them in various sizes and in ornate or decorative versions if you need that, and they’re far more economical. These jars are pretty, I do love the look of them, but that’s it. That’s their only selling point.

Adorable!
Perfect size for me and my overnight oats! 13oz allows for just the perfect amount of space for toppings.
