I have a sweet little Maltese with beautiful hair that takes some maintenance. We’re in winter right now and I’m afraid the dry air has left its mark on her coat. I’ve been try out new conditioners but haven’t been happy with the results. When I saw this coat repair mask I figured it was worth a try. I’m so glad I did! Last night I gave her a bath (I swear her little mouth is clean, she got it all wet before I took the picture so it looks rusty) and blow dried her hair for maximum fluff and now she’s so soft I can’t stop petting her. I swear she’s become part chinchilla, she’s that soft.The jar looked a bit small in the listing so the price tag had my eyebrow raised, but when it arrived the jar was much bigger than I thought. It’s quite large in fact so I expect it will last us for quite a while.In the instructions it said to leave it on for 15 minutes. I was a little apprehensive about that because my girl hates baths (or any situation where she gets all wet) so I try to get it over as fast as I can. There was no way I’d be able to have her wait there for 15 minutes. A groomer friend told me she will wrap hers in a towel and hold them during the wait, so I figured I’d give that a try. But after seeing the instructions on the actual jar said it only needed to stay on for 5-10 minutes I figured I’d do my best to give her a little bath massage to distract her for as long as possible. We made it to 5 or 6 minutes which was good enough for a first attempt. Even that short time did the trick because as I mentioned she’s sooo soft today. Next time I’ll try to leave it for 10 minutes and see what magic results we’ll have.So while the price is definitely a bit hard to swallow this repair mask is really worth it. It does an absolutely fantastic job of moisturize and adding nutrients back into the fur so they can feel like the luxurious little creatures they are. And if you have a small one like mine (6 lbs) up to medium-ish the jar should last quite a while. It won’t last as long with bigger dogs (obviously) but their coats are just as in need of repair from time to time and you just can’t put a price on the happiness and tranquility it brings to run your hands through this level of heavenly fluff.

This smells wonderful and it left my boys coat so incredibly shiny and smooth.He doesn't love baths, so I was worried about having to leave it on for an extended period of time. However, I was able to keep things calm and leave it sit for as long as possible and I'm glad I did.I don't love the price. But a little goes a long way.
