Modica is a town in Sicily rich in art and history. It has been declared cultural patrimony by UNESCO. It is famous for its chocolate, unique in its genre. Its peculiarity compared to the others is cold processing. This one does not include neither conching, nor the use of added materials, such as vegetable fats, milk, and lecithin. This working process is originated from Aztecs, and it was brought to Sicily by Spanish people in XVI century. At the moment there are no traces of this process in Spain, nor in America, nor in other parts of the world. Modica is the sole mark of it. A chocolate full of history that preserves gestures and flavours unchanged by time.

Terrible, don't waste your time or money.
Appalling, this was nothing like the Modica chocolate we had in Sicily, either a bad batch or just a bad brand, avoid at all costs.

Disappointing
It is nice but I have had another brand of pistachio chocolate from Modica which was much more delicious but it is not available in the UK. You get a nice crunch from the nut pieces but you cannot actually taste the nuts, the nut flavour is not there.

Schlechte Qualität
Trotz Bio-Siegel (Italien), schmeckt künstlich, werde ich nicht nochmal kaufen. Der Preis (15,73 für 3er Pack) ist definitiv nicht gerechtfertigt.
