Expensive but perform well
I try to be environmentally friendly when I can. That being said, bamboo paper towels are a great way to help out the environment. These paper towels are made from bamboo and feel just like regular paper towels. They may even be a little bit thicker and more absorbent than some brands. I like the select a size part of the rolls as well. The only downside about these is the price. They are a lot more expensive than regular paper towels which means that not as many people will use them. Which is sad as they do work well and I like using them. I would recommend giving these a try if you are interested in trying out bamboo paper towels.

It still has plastic despite trying to avoid it
The product is great. The towels absorb well and do all you would want from a regular paper towel. However, I am very disappointed that I chose this brand because it is plastic free and planet friendly and it comes in 2 boxes, the outer taped in plastic. Amazon and Grove need to raise their game with this. Less packaging please and no plastic.

Can use less goes a far way. Absorbent, save trees
Great idea, Bamboo paper towels, save our trees.I live in the mountains, And we need trees from all over the world for oxygen,Animals , shade, rain forest , stop global warming , etc.I do not usually rip off sheets of paper towels all day, but these do come in handy, and I doHave a use for them.Cleaning the stainless in the kitchen, wiping up spills from the kids on the floor, counters , cooking, lining the fridge drawers, works good for cleaning windows etc.Using these paper towels you do not have too rip off large sheets. These can be ripped off in smaller section, cause there is perforated marks that you can getSmaller sheets, and not waste paper. The rolls are packed tight.

Doesn't come close to my regular paper towels
I received this box of six 2-ply Grove Co. Bamboo Paper Towels in good condition. They come in a thin, recyclable box. They are not wrapped in any kind of plastic. I really wanted to try these because we have been switching out our single-use products around the home for more eco-friendly ones. I have had some hits and misses, and unfortunately this one was a miss for me. I know that it's unfair to compare these to my regular well known national brand paper towels, but as far as my own personal needs go, they do not come close to meeting them. The paper towels are really thin and really weak. I usually place a roll on my upright dispenser. It has a feature where the roll will stop spinning on its own so I don't struggle to tear a sheet. Every single time I'd reach to gently tear a sheet, it wouldn't tear on the perforated line. It would just tear in half or any which way. The only positive thing I did experience is that they are pretty absorbent. I still found myself having to use more sheets than that of my usual paper towels, which ends up feeling like a waste and leaves me wondering if I'm really making a difference in using them if I'm having to consume more. I will not be purchasing these.

Better than I expected!
I wasn't sure I would like these. I tried bamboo toilet paper once and that was not a good experience. These however are great for cleaning up the kitchen. They are thick and absorbent. They also don't rip easily. I can scrub my stove and counters without using an entire roll. They are ecofriendly and no plastic involved. I think they are worth it especially if you are trying to be more environmentally friendly.

Cant tell the difference
So side to side you cant tel the difference between the "normal" paper towels and these eco-friendly paper towels. The look and feel exactly the same. In terms of performance, overall they do about the same as normal paper towels. The only downside is that they significantly more expensive than normal paper towels. I love the idea of these but cant justify the cost.

Meh compared to Bounty
I recently tried out the Grove Co. Bamboo Paper Towels, and I must say, my experience was a bit mixed. While they do have some positive aspects, they also left me feeling somewhat underwhelmed. On the positive side, I really appreciate the company's commitment to sustainability and the environment. The fact that these paper towels are made from bamboo, a renewable resource, and are tree-free, is commendable. I'm all for reducing our ecological footprint, and using products that contribute to less waste and zero plastic waste is definitely a step in the right direction. In terms of strength and absorbency, the Grove Co. Bamboo Paper Towels do a decent job. They are reasonably absorbent and held up well during typical kitchen cleaning tasks. However, I did notice that they weren't as sturdy as some other brands I've used. There were a few instances where the paper towels tore apart while cleaning up slightly more challenging spills. Bounty brand absorb better than this brand. The right sheet is bounty and the left is Grove.
