I use these insulated water bottles for water first thing in the morning, which I drink as I'm waking up and making coffee so that I start each day with better hydration. A larger volume of water would be too much in the morning, and glasses of water or disposable bottles of water always taste stale to me. I fill this bottle with cold water from the fridge before going to bed and it's still cool and fresh-tasting in the morning when I wake up.The only improvement I can see would be to have the top attached so it can't fall off. I don't mind that it's not recommended for the dishwasher -- a bottle brush does just fine.

Always used S’well bottles in the past. Koodees work just as well and you don’t need to purchase an additional carry handle. Stocked up on these at this price for my fridge water bottles.

I hope that those who are buying these bottles for their young children aren't offended - but I bought them for alternate uses. Each is the perfect size to transport a 1-night supply of distilled water for my CPAP (it uses 11oz). Also, they will be very handy to keep Margaritas cold and ready to pour when we attend outdoor concerts.They seem well-made and durable. The wrist loops are definitely child-sized. I'm sure they are perfect for your kids, too.
