Better than I expected considering the price!

This is a burger press with a fairly large plate, capable of encompassing most sizes of burger you'd find in the shops without problem. It would also work for smashing potatoes for roasting or other similar applications if you happen to be in to those, and multi-functionality in kitchen implements is always welcome. The press is solidly made with metal thick enough that it does not easily bend or warp, but is still light enough not to be awkward (to handle at least, it can be a bit of a pain to pack away in a cupboard or drawer thanks to the closed loop and awkward shape).One small issue is that the handle bar is not an integral part of the structure, instead seeming to be a hollow tube welded on around the top half leaving a thin but noticeable crack running around its lower half, which might admit water during washing up. This could be a problem, because for 'stainless' steel this press really seems to pick up spots of rust quickly, brushed or scoured off easily for the most part but not all and it's always a shame to see stainless steel done so poorly.

Yes does what's needed... Seems strong washes well and hasn't rusted yet... So great buy.... Weights okIs what it is cheffy pants 👍For me a good buy ...... Knocking out pates
