I keep my nails natural but in the winter they tend to split horizontally, and then I deal with a split nail that's too low to trim safely, and hurts until it grows back in. I've only used this polish for a few weeks and I absolutely love it!First of all it feels like my nails can breathe, which is important to me. My nails haven't really split since using it and they're growing longer than they ever have before. The color looks like natural nails only prettier, and it's sheer as long as you put on thin coats, otherwise it looks opaque and streaky. It's easy to take off, too, which they recommend each week, but I will enjoy this little ritual because this polish is so effective and pretty.

The polish came in its original box with some wear on all corners. Everything inside was fine, bottle seemed new and unopened. Color looked pretty and neutral. Because of the extreme sheerness I had to apply three coats and color is a bit too peachy for me. I’d rather of had it lean towards the pink side. However, it has been on for 4 1/2 days now, and I only have one chip, so it’s doing its job and making my nails feel stronger at the same time.

I like this series from essie, and have bought four colors over time, from different sources. I got indi-go for it and glowing strong from Amazon. With Amazon, the price and free shipping is a plus, and I have nothing to complain about the packing either. I also like that the 'treat love and color' series comes in a nice plastic box, making them easy to carry or to give as a gift.The problem with buying them from Amazon is the colors. If you choose the colors by only looking at this page, you are bound to get disappointed. There are plenty of nailpolish reviews available online (just do an image search and then go to the website to read more), and the essie website usually includes pictures of each color on nails of people with different skin tones. I found that those images, of the polish actually painted on, to be a far more accurate representation of what each color looks like in real life.In general, I found that these nailpolishes are : thick, no top/base coat needed as they say, but you need to apply at least two coats (usually three) to get an even, opaque look. And by that time the colors may look different/darker from what they do here. If your nails are not buffed, you may need to use the gel couture top coat to get an smooth look. But I found the essie nailpolish stronger/thicker than other brands I've tried, so I like this all the same.One thing I don't like about it is they seem to mislead customers into thinking that this nailpolish will improve nail health. That's just not possible. At most it might be easier to apply or hold on to brittle nails without flaking. My nails are alright, so I just got it because I liked the colors (from the nail polish reviews, not the amazon page).

Essie Treat Love &Color nail strengthener is my go to solution for verticle splits in nails. My favorite color is Berry Best 79, which coordinates well with my pink Otter Box cover. I only gave it four stars because I can’t find that color, and the next closest color is darker than I would like. Before heading out I brush on a fresh coat to keep it fresh looking over a few days. It doesn’t last a week, but it does keep a split nail from snagging till it grows out if protected with Treat Love & Color. This product isn’t available locally anymore so I was glad to find it here.

I really wanted to love this polish. I have other easy treat love and color strengthener polishes and I love them! This one not so much I've tried putting this on several times now and end up taking it off within the same day because it does not look like the color that is there when you do the Tryon option it is a cream which is fine with me I look forward to that but when I put it on there are constantly streakiness issues even if I do it then or if I do it thick if I do the trick of turning your fingers upside down so that evens it out nothing works there's always some spot on my nail that is not even it's not there's no coverage or there's barely any coverage so it stands out it's horrible and I don't want to do nail art to cover that up I want to be able to put my color on let it dry and go on I need my nails to be strong and healthy and I was hoping to have more than just a sheer color or just add a nice purple in and I can't do that with this I hope that they fix the formula cuz I know that there are some easy colleges that are like that their crappy their streaky and I get that but then there are some that are really nice and I wish that this was one of them you know I've even tried it on other Nails other people's fingernails just to see if maybe it was just me like maybe was a body chemistry issue no no matter what fingernails I have painted the color on it does not dry I even let my friend borrow a bottle of it to see if it would come out better and then she came back and said I'm not doing this I put it on I took it off and put it on I took it off she's like I tried acetone to see maybe if it was too much oil nothing so maybe this is a color they should take back fix the formula and then release it

Pink to Perfection is my go to for neutral nail color! For me the Treat Love colors seem to last a little longer than Essie nail polish and there’s a color that compliments any skin tone. Pink to Perfection is not too sheer and makes your hands look beautiful and professionally done. Hands down my favorite in the Treat Love line. My only critque is that eventhough it last longer than Essie nail polish for me -- I do wish it would last longer, After a few days, it's pertty much spent but still a great in-between-manicures way to treat and color your nails

I was looking for a lavender coloured nail varnish but it would seem that they are very few and far between. I have kept this nail varnish as I do like Essie nail strengtheners but just wish the pictures on the website reflected the actual colour of the varnish.
