Simply amazing!
Thereās not one bad thing I could ever say about this book. It has spice, intrigue, a morally grey man, and smart FMC. The way the author blends in fairytales with a new twist was tasteful and nostalgic. Fairytale retelling isnāt a new concept, but thereās no denying that this book is one of the best in the genre. While I was able to guess some of the surprises, the biggest one was a complete shock in the best way. Brexley is so sweet and powerful. He protects his woman from day one. Red fights for independence and gains so much self love. It is an overall beautiful love story mixed with A LOT of spicy moments. The magic aspect was icing on the cake and I definitely hate Hans and Gret more than I thought I could.

Great retelling!
Review: Tasting RedStars: āļøāļøāļøāļøSpice: š¶ļøš¶ļøš¶ļøš¶ļø"Tasting Red" by Holly Roberds masterfully combines shifter romance with a captivating fairytale retelling, delivering a spicy and engaging twist on the classic Red Riding Hood narrative. This enchanting and fast-paced story caters to fans of the genre who appreciate a touch of unpredictability and sizzle in their romance tales. The heavy spice woven into the narrative adds excitement, providing a satisfying experience for readers seeking a blend of magic, chaos, and unforeseen dangers. Roberds crafts a world where the strength of the female protagonist shines through, navigating challenges after trying to start a new life for herself. Her character development is compelling, offering a resilient and relatable lead. The introduction of the brooding wolf shifter as the male lead adds complexity to the narrative. Against the backdrop of a missing grandmother and looming threats, the dynamics between the protagonists create tension. Skillfully executed plot twists towards the end inject surprise and intrigue, maintaining a balance between romance, suspense, and fantastical elements.Despite the swift pacing, Roberds doesn't compromise on character depth or plot intricacies. The novel successfully delivers a satisfying reading experience with its combination of heavy spice, surprising twists, a strong female lead, and a brooding male protagonist. This was my first read of a fairytale retelling and I was pleasantly surprised! Highly recommend!

primal spice
What lovely words you have. I loved this. It took a minute to really sink into it but once I did I loved it. The spice was spicy, the mains were hot and the auxiliary characters were amazing. Was the post climax a bit⦠disappointing maybe. Itās very cute and I love a good HEA but MFC continues to play human that to me ruins some of the learned lessons. I get why some would see it as character appropriate but I donāt love it.This book is an absolutely beautiful example of primal play and I love it. You donāt always get the itch scratching of a good primal scene but this did. Kudos

Oh yes
This was a good book!It has spice, mystery, love/hate relationships, and a little darkness. It left me wanting MORE, more of thier story, more background, just more allaround.

Tasting Red
To be honest i started it cause i thought it would be a small read just enough to not get bored in my reading slump but it turned out that it got me out of it. I really really liked it and i loved the retelling fairytale trope, I don't see it enough nor i read enough of that. That's gonna change.....hehehe. I loved their dynamic and their relationship, i adored all the characters and i had so much fun reading them and I can't wait for Red's friends to get their own books!!!!!!! I was shocked with the plot and the twists that kept happening, it never left me get bored!!!! Of course sometimes it felt like i was reading a wattpad book but i didn't mind that much. I really liked the main characters but i wanted something more from them and mayde to get to know them a little bit more. It was a beautiful ride and I can't wait to read the other books in the series!!!!!!ā¤ļøāØ

Entertaining retelling!
This was such an enjoyable read, fast paced, steamy, everything I needed it. I'm so glad I took a chance on it, because even though retellings aren't usually my jam I had a blast reading this one. Totally recomend it!!!

Big bad wolf has me on a chokehold š
This was my first time reading a riding hood reimagining and OMG I should have read this sooner because Iām not only obsessed with spicy retelling but also wolf shifters and fae šThe Big Bad Wolf owes a debt and when he goes after his next kill, little does he know that he would stumble upon Little Red, the granddaughter of his target. WOW š„µ instant attraction turns to lust and Redās world turns upside down as this bad wolf might be the one to save her or ruin herā¦. š„ there is a mix of the hidden identity trope with the bodyguard trope as Brexley pretends to be part of Redās security detail in order to learn more information on the whereabouts of Grandma⦠however this proves to be really hard as these two are resisting each other as much as they can š also the fake dating trope was a nice fun addition ! šabsolutely unputdownable and fast paced I seriously could not stop! š
