VEVOR 100FT x 3/4 Inch Drain Cleaning Machine Sewer Auger Auto Feed with 4 Cutter & Air-Activated Foot Switch for 1" to 4" Pipes, Orange, Black

This arrived with the cord all twisted up within the drum. You could see visibly that it was all tangled and crossed over on itself. I had to call a professional plumber to look at it. He stated it was unusable and would never work right when it’s that twisted up within the drum, and when pulled out, it didn’t untwist itself. He said that will never work; it will continue to get bound up. It was also coiled the wrong way by the manufacturer, which is probably why it was twisted up. I called Amazon customer service and didn't get help; the guy breathed in the phone loudly and wouldn’t answer. I told him I could hear him breathing. Then he held his breath for about 10 seconds then started breathing again but wouldn't answer. I do not recommend this product because there is too much of a risk of getting something unusable for something so expensive, and customer service on something this expensive is not great. Three phone calls later, I got a customer service rep, and they helped, but still, this was not worth the hassle for the price, IMO.

This is a warning!!!! DONT PURCHASE THIS ITEM!!!The drum itself is great. No problems with the drum itself!The snake part of the rooter rooter is GARBAGE AT BEST! I've worked with rooter rooter for the past 20 yrs and I've never seen a junk snake like this! It's to soft to handle any kind of tension and binds up inside the drum!!! Don't purchase!!!My opinion is the cable inside the wire is to soft and the metal lining can't sustain itself and gives in. Either way, I'm forced to go purchase a new snake now, which will coat me $200!! :/

Last November I bought this VEVOR sewer snake to rod my clogged main sewer line. It worked fine taking some of the roots. It was able to do the job. When I tried to retract it, it left about 30 ft of cable that won't retract (shown in photo). I tried to extend and it won't do a thing (I was using the autofeed for both procedure). Upon inspection, I found that the cable is tangled inside the drum and tried to pull it out to no avail. In my frustration, i cut the drum (as you can see) to take out the cable, recoil it back and bolted the cut metal with a plate. It still did not work, extending and retracting. Reinspecting it again and found that when the radius of the cable by the Distributor Tube becomes smaller (see photo) it will not come in or come out of the drum. Now I have an expensive machine that I can't use when I needed it the most.VEVOR engineers/designers did not do a lot of simulation test of these products. Not well designed, drum wobbles when rotating, there is a gap between the drum and autofeed. Autofeed material is of soft cast aluminum and thread stripped easily when tightening the bolt. Now I will save money to buy the more expensive ones made by RIGID or ELECTRIC EEL similar to ones rented out by Home Depot.VEVOR drain auger is way cheaper than well-known/proven brands BUT useless if it won't work.

Rewind Did Not Work!😮‍💨🤯SERIOUSLY, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! PLZ.VEVOR 3/4"X100FT SNAKE DOES NOT WORK. 1. Snake arrived without wheel Axle (See Pictures) waited more than 2 weeks! Finally was told... they were waiting on CHINA to send the missing part! Never got it. 2. KEEPS SHUTTING OFF.- Having to keep restarting, litterally every minute. 3. AUTOFEEDER DOES NOT WORK. NEITHER FORWARD OR IN REVERSE 4. AIR PUMP CORD KEPT GETTING CUT BY SPINNING DRUM (See Pictures) HAD TO TAPE UP.. In 2 places, in a spand of 10 minutes! Cheap material. 5. CABLE IS NOT FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO MANUVER AROUND PIPE BENDS.5. SNAKE MUCH MUCH TOO HEAVY TO MANUVER.IT WAS A NIGHTMARE! NEVER, EVER AGAIN🥵🤮😬😬😬🙄😬

Cable feeds poorly. First job auto feed mechanism feed bearings broke. Cable is dangerous to hand feed sticks and turns loose of cable erratically. Vevor sent everything needed to repair the feed unit. Thanks

I've bought cheap snake machines before . Never seen anything quite like this . Completely un usable . The cable is so flimsy it tangles up as soon as it enters the drain . Don't buy!!!

Worst sewer machine I ever used. No power. Soon as cable starts to get a little tension the reset button trips. The cable keeps getting tangled in drum. I'm thinking about throwing in trash. Would make a good anchor.

It worked flawlessly and cleared the blockage in my plumbing. However, when I went to retract the cable it wouldn't retract like it should. Now I have 100 feet of cable strung all over the place that I can't get back into the drum. The forward function worked great.

After only using this machine twice, the cable coupling attachment that holds the auger bit, fell off inside the waste pipe, rendering the auger useless. The coupling was not welded and only fit over the cable. I paid over $1,000 for this machine, expecting decent quality. Also, where the ad states auto feed, that also does not work. Nothing but issues feeding the cable into the drain pipe and worse getting it out. Terrible product. Very disappointing to say the least. Waste of money.
