The padding on the ankle edges are hard .Feels pain after walking few foots

There is an extensive non-leather part. Substandard cotton material. It can never be water resistant. The shape is never like a riding boot; it's triangular from below upwards: so can never fit the ankle area. I have used many riding boots and combat boots. This is neither. I am returning it.
