Brilliant Bit of Kit for Tinkering and Learning
I bought this YIHUA 1502PBB power supply and breadboard combo to use for my electronics projects, and I’ve got to say, it’s been a proper game-changer. Whether you’re just starting out with circuits or need a reliable setup for prototyping, this little unit ticks all the right boxes. What I love most is how compact and tidy it keeps everything. Having the breadboard integrated right into the power supply means less clutter and fewer trailing wires, which is always a plus on a busy desk. The variable voltage is a huge bonus — you can dial in anything from 0 to 15V, and it’s got both positive and negative outputs, so it’s perfect for a wide range of experiments, especially when working with op-amps or other dual-rail circuits. The voltage control knob is smooth and responsive, and the digital display gives a clear readout, which really helps when you’re trying to be precise. It’s not lab-grade equipment, obviously, but for hobbyists and learners, it’s spot-on. The inclusion of multiple output ports and the on/off switch for the breadboard power is a thoughtful touch too — saves you from having to constantly unplug things when you want to tweak your circuit.Build quality-wise, it feels solid and well put together. The casing is sturdy, and the breadboard itself grips components well without being too tight. I've used it for hours at a time with no overheating or odd behaviour. All in all, if you’re into electronics, this is a cracking bit of gear to have on your bench. Makes testing circuits way more convenient, and at this price, it’s honestly brilliant value. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Useful Development Tool
The unit is well constructed for breadboard development work. It eliminates the need for potentially three separate power supplies. The provision of two adjustable voltage supplies (+&-) is a useful facility. However, it should be noted that all the power supplies share a common ground, which although useful for many applications can also be a limiting factor in some situations. An isolation of the fixed 5 volt supply could have been an asset at times. The volt meters appear to be realistically accurate for this piece of equipment. The current meters are less accurate particularly at the lower values, but probably acceptable. The breadboards are probably not the best quality available, but are seemingly adequate dependant upon the amount of use. I have obviously not time wise been able to evaluate this. From a development facility and cost aspect I would recommend this unit.

Good product, compact and versatile. 2 more link wires desirable..
.overall pleased with the product. .but, it came with only 2 link wires with banana plugs at one end, seemingly intended for +5V & Ground connections only.. if 2 more link wires for +15 & -15 Volt terminals had been provided the product would have been 100% complete and worthy of high appreciation and commend. .at a price of £99 inclusion of 2 more connecting wires wouldn't have added to the manufacturing cost significantly at all.

Great item, better than expected!
I took a chance buying this powered bread broad. Not many companies make them and they can be really expensive. I expected a plastic case and low quality binding post. I couldn't see a power switch in the amazon advert, not a big problem for me though. I was also expecting the electronics to use a switch mode supply, which can cause lots of rf noise and interfere with the circuit built on the bread board. When I collected the item from the Amazon Locker it was heavier than I expected. That was first good sign. The unit was well packaged in a sturdy cardboard box within the amazon box.I was pleasantly surprised when I first saw the unit. Black painted metal box for the chassis, good binding posts, IEEE socket (with cable) and a mains switch. The unit had some weight, so they used a transformer, not switch node.Initial test. Main earth chassis confirmed with a multimeter. No reference to mains earth on the 0V, so this is a floating supply.I hooked up some small light bulb and set both control to zero. I connected my Fluke meter across the positive supply. I powered the unit on and was present with a transformer hum, that was good news to me, but other may find it annoying. I slowly advanced the +ve supply control and the bulb light up. The voltage reading matched on my multimeter to that on the unit. Same results when I tested the -ve supply.I've not tested the 5V supply and not tested the accuracy of the built in ammeters.I've not done a tear down either, but everything is working well and am really pleased wit the quality of the unit. The breadboard itself is the only slight let down as the cheap standard stick on boards have been used, but these can be replaced when they wear out.

Defective item sent, returns not free!
Item has arrived with defective display. To return I need to pay postage but postage will cost more than what's being offered (10 euro) because this is a heavy item!

Nice product!
With an integrated power supply, this breadboard setup makes many things more accessible and manageable. It would have been better if we had the Over Current Protection (OCP) override/configuration option. Also, the manual doesn't contain details about the OCP mechanism that is in place.
