This pendant is made from blue Agate cabochon 30x40 mm. wrapped with silver filled wire 0.8 mm. and German style brass wire 0.5 mm. The chain is silver plated and adjustable from 21" to 23" or 52.5 cm. to 57.5 cm. Please contact me if you need different length. Brass wire is non tarnish. Agate is one of my favourite gemstones, that I use for pendants as it comes in many beautiful colours. Agate enhances creativity and strengthens the intellect, making it a beneficial stone for both students and artists. It is also known as a good luck stone. Agate can cleanse and stabilize the aura by removing and/or transforming negative energy. Silver filled alloy contains 1/10th sterling silver by weight. The sterling silver layer is hundreds of times thicker than a silver plating. ... The silver is bonded to the core metal usually copper or brass and does not flake off the way a plating might.
