I got this set to use with my kindergarten class to teach the shapes and formation of letters. I thought it came with a set of cards that showed how to make each letter of the alphabet using the pieces, however, the cards that came with it only included a few letters. The other cards showed different creative designs and pictures you can make with the pieces. While the design cards are nice and the kids did enjoy trying to make different things using the cards, I was definitely disappointed that it wasn't a whole set of letters and I had to substitute my own letter cards.Other than that, this is a nice, albeit small, set. The pieces are made of wood and I'm haply to say they seem pretty solid. I was worried they would break easily, but that hasn't been the case. The set comes with several different sizes of straight and curved line pieces. This is a great fine motor activity and great for getting kids to think in terms of what kinds of lines are used to create different shapes, letters, numbers and objects. This helps them to visualize and better write or draw.

Its decent quality but it is smaller than Ii thought it would be. My mom is 90 and has mild dementia so i git this thinking it would help occupy her and exercise her brain. The pattern pictures you use to copy the designs are maybe 5x7 and 90 year olds need large print everything so I wish it would have been bigger and bolder for elderly person.

The quality is really good. The cards it comes with at thick. I love how this helps kids with motor skills. Keeps the kids off their tablets.

I love having all different toys for the resident 5 year old here. This is something that I have not seen before and I was intrigued. It comes with different cards for different skill levels and then you place a card in the wooden slot and create the picture. Or your child can free play and create what they wish.I really enjoyed trying this out from an adult perspective. One thing I noticed was doing it on the wood table or the Formica countertop was somewhat hard as the colorful wood pieces are very light weight and tend to slide around on the slick surface. So I tried it out on a silicone arts and crafts mat and that was much easier. Our 5 year old has a hard time sitting still and is working on fine motor skills and I want this to not be frustrating, but rather, a fun and creative time.I imagine that in Free Play, we are going to see mostly cars and trucks which is just fine. My goal in getting this is for:Fun and creativityWorking on fine motor skillsLearning to follow directionsLearning to sit still for a projectWorking on patience and finishing a short term projectComing up with original ideasPlaying with something that is without a screen or batteriesI would purchase this again and love that it is something really different!

Montessori Matching Puzzle toys sticks and rings puzzle is a fun and educational activity. My students use a sticky mat underneath so the pieces stay in place. You can match the shapes using the pattern cards or use your creativity to make your own designs. The Montessori approach promotes problem solving, critical thinking and fine motor skills. Unfortunately, these pieces do not appear all that sturdy and I can see them easily breaking. I also wish there were more alphabet letter cards which would expand the versatility of the toy. I tell my students that all upper case letters are formed using long and short lines and long and short curves put together. This would have been a great way to teach the letters formations before using a pencil and paper.
