My old dog, Buster, just died and I lost my best fishing buddy. Buster used to sit between my legs, while I fished from my Kayak. Buster would get real excited when We would boat fish and when Buster got excited, it was all I could do to keep the Kyack upright.Buster passed away a few weeks ago and since I had Always told him that I was going to bury him next to the pond, in the kayak. Being a man of my word, I set about decorating the Kayak and funeralizing it, to give ole Buster a fitting ceremony.I ran into what you might call a logistics problem, when three of my fishing buddies showed up wanting to be a part of the burial ceremony. Given that the original carrying handles on my yak, had gotten all weathered and broken, I had to buy me 4 new ones, so we wouldn’t have to drag the ‘yak, down to the pond..we could each take holt of one of those new handles and we could carry Buster, in Style.By the way, the handles worked perfectly. If would have tough to drag that yak all the way to the pond, without them new handles.

The handles are great however the hardware is too short. The hardware is about 1/4 inch too short when going through a quality kayak side. After a trip to Menards and $15 more I had the correct length screws nuts and washers to successfully mount the handles. Disappointed that the hardware was so short and also there were no washers for the inside to ensure the Fasteners didn't pull through the side of the kayak after plenty of use.

In order for a proper installation, make sure that you can attach the nut to the end of the screw. If you have a sit on kayak, these will not work as designed and it could let water in. I was only able to get a couple threads to attach and had to use waterproofing sealant to the screw. These are strong grips and are the same ones most of the kayaks now are being sold with.

I like these. They are great to carry the kayak and hold my stuff in place while i fish. Wish they would have included washers but i had some that fit well.

I added these to some Pelican kayaks I purchased and they work really well for my needs. I also used one on a 6 ft Wave kayak as well. I used rivets to attach them and they are very secure. If my Vibe kayak handles were to ever be damaged I would replace with these.

I bought these to replace the worn out handles on my 14ft fishing kayak and they fit like a charm.They were very easy to install, sturdy and came with the necessary bolts and nuts but I just reused the ones from my kayak.Overall very decent handles for the money.

Ordered these as replacements for one of our kayaks. They are better quality than the ones that came new on the boat. Haven't had a chance to install them yet or use the kayak, but they look like the same size as the old ones so I'm sure they will fit. Price was great for 4 handles AND the screws (other companies sell packs of 2 handles and no hardware). Shipping was very fast.

With the appropriate drill bit and a little filing of the shavings underneath these were a perfect fit. Including the nuts and bolts. Those saying the bolts are too short are not sanding down the shavings from their drilling as I had this problem as well until I actually looked under the ridge of the cockpit and realized the access was still hanging there. Once shaved down it was perfect so you won't get cut up by the ends of the bolts. The handles are strong and durable and look like they came with my kayak.
