A Spectacular Debut!!!
To put it simply- WOW! This novel is a fast-paced, well developed, and engrossing story. The format allows for the reader to be quickly immersed in the plot line. The characters and the setting, which the author makes a character in its own right, are powerfully portrayed. When reading this novel it was so well written it was like watching a movie in my mind. I love when a book is that engrossing. The finale has a delicious twist that will shock even the most seasoned thriller reader! This author has my continued readership. I can hardly wait for her next novel!

Great book, highly recommend buying and reading The Last Night I Knew You
This book is really good. Very well written keeps you interested til the last page. I didn't see any of the ending coming! Plot twist ending! I didn't want the book to end even though I couldn't wait to get to the ending for the truth to be revealed. I can't wait for a sequel. Very well worth the purchase. Definitely recommend this book. A real page turner.

Fast paced thriller!
Wow!!! What an incredible book! I can’t put into words how much I enjoyed this book! It is a quick read that doesn’t drag on like many thrillers that I read! I highly recommend this book! You will not be disappointed! I cannot wait for the next book by this author!! Seriously, my favorite book of 2023!

the ending
Good book overall, but the ending left you hanging and I like everything resolved. Maybe there’s a sequence but can’t imagine where the story will go at this point.

Grabs your attention from the beginning and doesn’t let go!
I don’t read a lot of fiction but my favorite genre of tv shows and movies is true crime and thrillers. I love trying to figure out the ending or mystery and do not like predictable endings. The storyline was fast paced but gave the reader small clues throughout the book. As I read I became engulfed in the story and committed to helping Kylie get the answers she needed. I found myself staying up to finish the book because it was so easy just read one more chapter! I loved the way the book used chapters to develop characters individually and flip from present day to past. Definitely will read the sequel!

Good twists at the end
As a self published book with no formal editing I think it was really good! If you get past the grammatical errors, the twists really catch your attention and keep you reading. I’d read a second book if she writes it, I feel like there are unanswered questions.

Best book ever!
This is easily the BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ! Easy to read and follow each separate character! Left me guessing to the very end! I am not a HUGE reader but read this one in less than 24 hours!!! I CANNOT WAIT for the next one! I am telling everyone I know (and many I don't know) it is a MUST READ!!!! So incredibly impressed with this author!!!

Catchy But Sloppy
I heard about this book through a psych thriller fb group. I really wanted it to be a knockout after hearing the author is a self-published single mom. For me, it was just okay. For reference, my favourite authors are Karin Slaughter and Kathy Reichs. This book held my attention as it didn’t have too much unnecessary detail and kept me thinking something was going to happen soon; however, not much really ever happened. I enjoyed the back and forth between past and present. The plot was fairly predictable and no real twists, but it was mostly all tied together. There are a lot of grammatical errors, and it seemed like there were more and more as the book went on which gave the impression the writing was rushed. Sometimes these errors affected reading comprehension. I feel there were options for the two “twists” at the end that would’ve made them truly WTF?!? Overall, it was a quick, easy read that provided entertainment without having to think too hard—like a basic chick flick.
