Great for traveling, doing house chores, errands, etc. with a little one on your hip. Very comfortable and easy to use. Pockets everywhere! Sturdy and I don't feel any weight on my hips or lower back as long as it is placed right. Only downside is there's no strap to hold baby on - however, I always held my daughter whenever I used this so I wasn't too concerned. Also, I have used many times when she has fallen asleep while we are out and about and I don't have somewhere to lay her down.

We bought two of these, one for mom and one for dad, to carry our toddlers in places our stroller might be hard to maneuver. Let me say, these are a life saver for your back. We carried our toddlers around with these for a couple hours. While carrying toddlers isn't easy in general, this significantly helped take much of the load off our backs and hips versus carrying them without. And our girls genuinely enjoy sitting on these. You can tell they are much more comfortable than carrying them on our hip. I haven't tried the big brand version of this because I refused to spend $80, especially since I wanted to buy two of them. I bought two of these for less than I would have spent on one of the big brand ones, and from what I've heard, parents like the HKAI much more than the big brand version. It's a win win! Highly recommend.

This is a great item to have while traveling. Easy to use. It’s easy for me to put it on my hip, however my husband doesn’t like it because it slides down on him. If you have child bearing hips, it’s great!

This is one of those purchases where you kick yourself and say I WISH I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THIS SOONER. My son is a (really cute and sweet) meatball, and while I love snuggling him, my arms needed a break from carting him around for extended periods of time. This carrier is great quality, fits comfortably, and performs incredibly well. I’ve taken this carrier from Disneyland to hikes in the mountains, and it’s a game-changer for mom’s arms and hips. Plenty of pockets to hold essential goodies, and I even found room in the seat pocket to sneak a diaper and wipes. Totally worth it and your forearms will thank you!
