For some reason I bought this blindly without doing my research for once (life regret, oops!). 100% natural rose water should last at least two weeks within the fridge and one week out of the fridge before it spoils. This bottle has a 12 month expiration date on the back of it because this is made from rose oil mixed with water. This rose water most likely has harsh pesticides in it and may likely be heavily processed (This may explain why so many people are complaining about the smell (and because the packaging is misleading, who really knows how old the product they sell you is). In the comments, someone asked if this product was organic and the supplier said "yes." No where on the product not anywhere on the companies site does it state that this product is organic. Extremely misleading. Shop smart, do your research, the best thing to do is buy organic dried roses through Amazon and steep them like you would do tea OR buy 100% USDA Organic Rose Water. :)

This came without a top.. I don't understand that.. I'm uneasy about using something that didn't even have a cap on it
