Lunar Coffee LabColombia Organic Dark Roast - Volcanic Soil Grown at Mount Tolima - Fair Trade Dark Roast Coffee or Espresso (Whole Bean, 8oz)

This coffee has great flavor. I bought it because it's organic and a lighter roast. Dark roast isn't our thing. Hard to find these attributes for a decent price these days. I think it's priced right and will order it again.

The coffee seemed quite fresh overall. The taste was excellent. Really enjoyed drinking it. It’s a little pricey and would like to get a bigger bag.

I recently tried Lunar Coffee Labs' organic heirloom Ethiopian coffee, and let me tell you, it's amazing! This coffee was a finalist in the Cup of Excellence competition, and it's easy to see why. The sun-dried beans have these incredible fruity and floral flavors that are unique to Ethiopian coffee. When you open the bag, you get this wonderful aroma of fresh berries; the taste is just as sweet and juicy. Good cup of coffee, used for espresso and belgium syphon.

Fresh quality beans with an undertone of molasses, chocolate and strawberries. Some may even say a little bit of cherry! Don't trust my review though, try it for yourself as everyone has different tastes and coffee...

I bought this coffee because the seller advertised it as a finalist at the Cup of Excellence coffee competition. Cup of Excellence tasting boards have some reputation as being quite independent and objective. I did not research whether that claim was true and tried to give it a chance, being on the search of the elusive fruity flavor of high end Ethiopian coffee. I was not disappointed! The coffee has indeed markable dried red cherry tones (or however you want to describe it) which comes with truly excellent Ethiopian coffee. For that price, it is a spectacular find (I ordered another bag right away).

I prefer a roast that is on the lighter side so this was disappointing. Dark roasts, to me, just taste more burned and bitter, seems to lose some of the coffee flavor.

The media could not be loaded.  Finally a great decaf that I can use for pour overs in the afternoon or for those days where I don’t want too much caffeine. The flavor is super smooth not too bold, just a little fruity brightness. Doesn’t taste “decaf” (in a good way!) Not bitter at all. I ground 1 1/2 scoop medium coarse , I’m so excited to try the rest of this brand line also, the packaging is so cute 💗💗💗
