This works great with a popsocket. It includes a suction cup mounting base, 2 permanent bases, a vent mount and the popsocket adapter. This is sturdy and works perfectly for my application. If you’re in the market for a mount that works with popsocket and are tired of them not fitting well or are too thin to work with your socket, try this one!

The media could not be loaded.  My wife is an avid Pop Socket user and trying to find a car mount that is deep enough to accept the Pop Socket without causing the phone to fall has been a challenge. We have tried the dash mounted Pop Socket holders, but in the summer heat, the glue melts and the mount eventually falls off.We were excited to see a windshield mounted option made for Pop Socket cases and immediately ordered. The resulting mount is super straight forward and easy to use/setup; windshield or dash mount with suction cup, AC vent mount, or 2 different dash mounts with glue pads. We opted for the windshield mount and set it up. The idea is, you extend the pop socket, drop the phone onto the mount and then retract the pop socket to keep the phone secure.There is a lip below the pop socket receptacle that has 3 gel pads on it to reduce the vibration and help secure the phone on the mount, but we found that even on a smoother road; the phone tends to bounce around a bit - mainly due to how the mount is designed. It does not grip the phone with any mechanical aperture in any way. All the weight of the phone is carried by the Pop Socket basically resting on the mount with some minimal support to the back of the phone. On a very bumpy road, the phone bounced out of the mount 3 times, which is a definite hazard for the driver (distracted driving, phone getting wedged under brake pedal, etc...).This is a great product in theory but it could use with some redesign that makes the phone more secure in the mount. If you have very smooth roads and/or don't travel very far (and love the Pop Socket), this might be the mount for you.
