Hooks for Outdoor String Lights: $29.99 for a 50-count box at the time of reviewLike many people in my neighborhood, my wife and I love to decorate for the holidays. At first it was just Christmas decorations, but we've branched out to other seasons. Of course, Christmas is the most colorful and light intensive. We have the same set of lights that I spend a healthy amount of time putting up and taking down each year. So naturally, I'm always on the lookout for something to make that work a little bit easier. We have some lights that go along our front porch and I figured that these plastic white hooks would be the perfect way to improve my current method (which is to wrap them around little nails).They come in a plain white box, each one with an adhesive backing. Honestly, there isn't much to talk about here aside from whether they work or not. In my test so far, they work perfectly. I was able to get them set up and tested though I didn't leave the lights up (bearing in mind that as I write this review, it's currently June). Getting the small white wires into and out of the reverse hooks on each piece is pretty easy. And as far as the adhesive goes, it's more than strong enough to hold up Christmas lights. It is worth noting though, that my string of lights is up underneath the eaves of a porch. It's relatively weather-protected (almost never gets wet, unless we have a storm where the rain is blowing sideways. So I suspect the diesel probably hold up better for me than four others who are putting them in weather-exposed areas.The one pet peeve I have here is the price. I gotta be honest, $30 bucks for 50 of these little things is very expensive to me. They do work and that are what they say they are, but frankly it's hard to justify that price for what they are.Ultimately, I am happy that I ordered these. They will make the task of putting up and taking down our Christmas lights that much easier. I'm currently trying to find other decorations to utilize them with, as I ordered 50 of these things and only needed about 15 so. Though I do think they are very expensive for what they are, I only deduct one star for a poor value proposition. So considering that everything else is good, my final score here will be four stars out of five. I would personally still order them over again though, as I'm going to pay that price for convenience.

The concept is good but you have to make sure to clean up the surface thoroughly. They come with double side tape pre-installed to put them up, I'm not sure if they will hold up for long which is why I recommend using a small screw (not included) to make it more secure specifically if you are going to install them outdoor.

These hanging hooks are much firmer and stronger then I expected. They definitely feel durable. That's good because thin plastic usually becomes brittle quickly in the extreme heat and intense sun of Texas.My only concern is that the sticky pads on the back are kind of thin. That makes me wonder how well they'll hold up to the elements.I'll just have to wait and see. I'll update this if I have any issues.

I ordered these outdoor sting hooks because I have some string lights and wanted to hang them around my patio. These hooks are great. The hooks has an upper and lower double groove design. When using these hooks your string lights won't slide around due to high wind and ensure they stay at the same height. I love that the hooks are able to adhere to any dry and flat surfaces such as wood, metal, or glass. The hooks are very sturdy. I really like that I don't have to drill any holes to hung my lights up. I love that I can stick the hooks under my roof so I can place my string lights up high to allow the best lighting for my patio. Waiting to see how these will stand up to the weather (wind, rain, and heat). The hooks seem to be well made but will tell over time.

With an adhesive backing, these are easy-to-install light clips that function well for string lights. I really liked the design on this, where you put the lights through the top and the bottom, making it more secure. Other positives are:1. Installation is very easy with this being an adhesive - you just need to stick them where you would like to install the string lights. We have an aluminum fascia/soffit system, so it was easy to stick these to them.2. Value for the price is excellent, as you get a 50-pack for ~$30. It is cheaper than other alternatives, which go at least $1 / clip.The biggest concern for me at the moment would be the longevity of how the clips will stay on. I will come back to update the review if it doesn't last, but initially, I am happy with these hooks.

These are very sturdy and the adhesive is very strong. They work great! Just be advised that they hood the CORD - not the loop on top of the actual light (which is the style I have). They totally grip the cord so it's not sliding around at all, which was my main concern. I have them outside on my boat so they're definitely getting their fair share of the elements in a marine environment and they're holding strong! Good deal.

The Vine program was designed to generate reviews of new products. I have a set of outdoor lights and I had not hung them up because I was desiring what types of hooks I should use. Then I saw these and they are great. Very easy to use they stick very well and are weather proof. I can highly recommend.

I like that I will be able to use these for the lights around my pool because they are waterproof. I will be testing them up north this week and down south in August. I will update each time after a week.
