I’ve been using for a month and I absolutely love it. I use it whenever I’m on the couch. Holds various sizes and types of beverages. The tray portion is great for any projects I’m working on while watching tv. I’m going to buy another next time it’s on sale.

It's very strong in gripping. Just becareful that it doesn't snap your fingers off while adjustments

I love having somewhere to put my cup when it’s filled with a hot beverage

It’s not totally secured but good enough for me. I can put my coffee mug and iPad on it.

Bamboo cup holder is cracked on one side. Right where a handle of a cup should go. Other than that works for what we need them for. Crack goes all the way threw and involes the bottom of the cup holder.

The first clip on tray I received had a busted cup holder. I returned that one and received my second BS-VOG clip on tray, and the cup holder was totally unusable just like the first. Most items come packaged in a larger box with bubble wrap, but the replacement one was in the original manufacturer's box inside a plastic shipping envelope with no extra cushion of bubble wrap (I can't remember how the first was packaged but both had indentations in the manufacturer's box).About the tray: It is very sturdy and holds on to the arm of my chair firmly. The chair's arm is rounded somewhat, but even if my elbow pushes on the tray, it moves slightly but doesn't tilt and allow anything to fall off. The tray is large enough to set an 8" plate on it. Imagine all the stuff this tray could keep handy right next to you. I liked the idea of the removable cup holder having a magnet that would attach the magnet on the base.So, the tray gets 5 stars; the cup holder (or packaging) gets a 0 star.

The second time, I didn't even bother unwrapping it after I opened the primary box. Even though the delivery from Amazon didn't appear to have any issues; both times the very thin bamboo ring that is meant to house the cup holder is broken into pieces.Bad design by the manufacturer, and poor packaging that basically appears to guarantee unfixable damage. If I could have given this zero stars I would have.To be fair, when I reported the first one arrived damage, I got the "replacement" very quickly, but that doesn't really matter if it too arrives in the same damaged condition.
