it's perfect, and it works great. a 4" round metal duct 8" length with both side crimped cost almost $10 in HD, with this tool I can just make it myself.

This tool is useful for downspouts, heating & AC duct work and dryer vents. This tool does a great job and is far superior to the suggestions about using long nose pliers to create the crimps to fit the pipes together. Buy one of these tools, it is worth it based on the reduced stress and time saved.

Good sized all metal construction hand crimper. Tool offers pretty good leverage by its design so it crimps metal easily. Only issue I had which really isn’t much of a issue, is that I had to check and tighten all the bolts, some were pretty loose and allowed a lot of movement between the 5 crimping blades. Once I found and corrected that this worked like a charm. I use this style tool for crimping sections of downspout while doing some gutter install, for that purpose I couldn’t be happier with its performance.

Contractor put downspout back on backwards and refused to return. I got this and I corrected it and could easily show anyone how to use it.
