This is a great attachment to add to your equipment. It is very light weight, very solid, and gives you up to three picatinny rails to use.It is very easy to attach, and once mounted it is very solid. It doesn't wiggle, or loosen with use. You can put a red dot on top, and a flashlight laser combo on the bottom, it can hold all your gear no problems.There's also an additional third side rail you can attach if you want. I can't think of a third item to even use though, so I left mine detached. But, it is there if you can find a use for it.Overall, is a great piece of equipment, for a very fair price. Very solid, looks great, and give you extra space you may need for additional attachments. Highly recommended.

So; I was looking forward to this product being the last piece of modernizing my R.I.A 1911A1. For whatever reason; the two horizontal pins that help lock the addon to the picatinny rail is too spaced out. Basically it doesn't fit, nor would I know what type of Picatinny rail system it would fit. Another is when making an attempt to fit it to the rail system; somehow the hex key screw upon hand tightening it, bent it seven ways to Sunday. I had to break my 1911A1's picatinny rail and buy another one to replace it.

If you already have a weapon light and a spare red dot lying around you can mount this on a pistol for kicks. Will not fit on HK rail. Will fit on Glock Gen 5 rail if you take off one crossbar. But then it will be slightly uneven on top. The higher mount makes it rise way up off target when you shoot. Your first shot will be about a foot low of your target, then you start raising the dot to zero. Kinda fun if you like Frankenstein pistols. Your friends will laugh!

You can pop the little ribs out of you have a Glock rail, but it will wobble or bend and not be stable on a Glock. It will work on anything else though.

This mount is exactly what I hoped it would be and thankfully matches it's description and stock photography. It's construction is all metal, which even applies the optional, side mounted, mini picatinny rail, so it's extremely sturdy. It's also more versatile than meets the eye, because it can be used in both directions, either with the large rail over the top of the receiver, or below, depending on one's needs. In my case, I wanted a rail just below the rear of the barrel of my shotgun since it only has a top rail. This allowed me to get one below for my flashlight, without interference with my spring-loaded sights on the top rail, so I'm happy. Recommended and thank you.

Poor construction quality The overall concept is ok for an inexpensive red dot sight solution. However the top of the mount rail was not squared with the side of the mount This caused the sight to sit canted on the top of the rail. This was the case for both guns I tried mounting it on. When I tried to square the angle between the top rail and the side of the mount, the metal cracked.
