By far the worst experience with rope and stanchion ever. The stanchions are very flimsy and the base is not heavy duty as described in the description. I would not recommend purchasing these stanchions. I purchased because each stanchion stretched 9 1/2 feet and they were described as heavy duty. Based on how light weight and flimsy they were, I would be lucky if they stretched 4 feet each before falling over. We tried water which leaked excessively. We tried sand, which was very difficult to get into each base and then it wasn’t heavy enough. I was extremely embarrassed during my event as I saw the rope and stanchion, leaning and falling, even after I put about a 10 pounds of bricks on each one. Pathetic product.!🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

I like the look of these scansions, however they are not durable! One broke upon assembly. I worry that the children are going to knock them over. They are wobbly and aren't really heavy enough to not pull to one side when attaching to the next scansion. We are going to try to put a larger washer on the bottom for more stability. If you just need something for looks and no one is touching these would be fine.

How do I get more plugs for the area where the sand goes?

This product looks nice, but has no weight in the bottom and falls over. It has a plastic container that looks like you could fill it with sand, but has no cap to keep the sand in....just a hole.
