Doesn't fit *quite* as snugly as the Breville issued filter to the Portafilter which I find to be nice; easier to remove and clean underneath or swap filters. Rest assured, it still will not come out accidentally.It has more holes than the Breville 2 cup filter that under 10x magnification look to be the same quality and size of the factory issued filter.I am a bit cautious so I used a lead testing cotton swab and this product had no detectable traces. It seemed quite clean to the touch out of the sealed plastic bag but my swabbing picked up a little bit of grey that was not reproduced after a quick washing with dish soap.Lastly, it brews an indistinguishable from the factory filter cup of espresso. It does not eject pucks quite as cleanly but i do not consider that a problem.All in all, quite happy for the quality and especially the price vs. the other options available.Recommended.
