It was relatively easy to set up

Had to change my review from 5 star to 1 unfortunately. Bought on October 2023 and now April 2024 and phone literally broke all of the sudden. It doesn't turn on anymore. At first couple weeks ago started to struggle to charge, had to hold charger in certain position for it to charge. ( Tried changing cables , didn't help) . Then yesterday it was showing as charging but it wasn't charging for a while. Managed to charge it by holding charger in place with elastic band wrapped around phone and charger. My son was using phone and discharged it completely. I left it on charge for 3 hours, red light was on as if charging and it does not turn on. Can see screen back-light turns on as screen gets brighter and that is it. Phone lasted 6 months.

Awesome phone for the money.

Pros - cheap, easy to set up, easy to use, good battery life, large screenCons - doesn't work with lots of apps such as Instagram and tiktok, very slow, crashes a lot, doesn't work with contactless, takes a long time to chargeGood as a budget or temporary phone, good for kids or the elderly

The Oscal C30 is a wonderful little phone with a 6.5 inch display that doesn't feel too small nor too big, fitting comfortably in my hands and pockets. Setting up the phone is easy, importing from your old phone is easy.The phone has good memory, and everything is easily accessible. Whilst the phone lacks speed in its charging it does have a wonderful 5080 mAh battery that lasts all day especially after heavy usage.In the box provided is a charger and the brick so no need to purchase any other items.Taking calls and sending and receiving texts and emails works amazingly too with no problem whatsoever.Browsing through the web and through social media is also fine.Another positive is the headphone jack something that's declining now in this age so the support for it is definitely much appreciatedHaving type c is also a bonus with the ability to charge all my devices e.g earbuds and power banks.On setup the phone is not filled with a bunch of bloatware and is loaded with the necessary apps to get you started.The lack of NFC is disappointing but at this price i can't complainPerfect little phone for a kids first phone or the elderly.

Nice budget phone, decent camera, I really just needed a sim free phone with calls, texts and WhatsApp. I haven't used it much yet and I've only had it a couple of days so far or downloaded many apps other than WhatsApp but managed to set up photos to save to sd card (which I bought separately). It's got a large screen and I got a phone case off Amazon as well. Will update after further use.Update: so far this phone has had good battery life, with a light use it lasts several days.

Brilliant phones, I bought two of these phones for my kids and they love them! Plenty on space for games, pics etc, good camera and does everything they need! And great price

When the phone was working it was a good phone however it developed a problem with proximity sensor in September 2023. I contacted Oscal support and after exchanges of email I was promised a replacement on 21 November 2023 but nothing has arrived despite promises that the replacement was being shipped. THEY also tend to ignore emails. If you want the assurance of a reliable warranty service, think carefully as my experience has not been very good. Update 22 Feb 2024 -- promised a replacement on 2 occasions (to arrive within 2 days) but both failed to arrive then correspondence ignored. Would give 0 stars but cannot. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SELLER AS THE WARRANTY THEY OFFER IN MY EXPERIENCE IS WORTHLESS!!
