While I wouldn't call this antler headband masculine, it is more androgynous than most others. I love its look!I wouldn't say each element is perfect, but the overall impression is fantastic and impressive. Its nature-y nature means it looks right when it's not all symmetrical.I have a small head and extremely little hair, so the headband on its own falls down a little if I move my head down. However, I can wear it very comfortably and securely for hours if I put it on over a flat cap. That's not a great photo-shoot look, but it'd work for a festival. Those with not-very-small heads and/or more voluminous hair should be fine without extra cushioning.Wearing it around the house, I got a new appreciation for deer and other antlered creatures. Every time I bent forward, I tended to run the branches into things!Anyway, this headband brings me joy. Surprisingly, part of that was reading all about the artisan Carol, including her hobbies! LOL Enjoy, folks!

The headband was very loose. I have a small head so my husband tested it on his big head and it was too loose for him too. While the details were a little crude the overall impression was striking. I didn't want to return it but I didn't want to walk around stiffly, balancing it on my head even more. So, I returned it.

This is really cute and a nice idea but when worn it doesn't come off as antlers as much as I'd like. When you flex the headband to put it on and wear it, the positioning changes on the attached branches putting them in a more upright position as opposed to a diagonal outwards one and that causes the overall look to be more like a bunch of tree branches growing upwards than as appearing antler like. It still looks nice and cool but gives off a different feel and look then I would expect and my head is very small so, I barely flex the headband at all.The construction is pretty good,everything is attached well and feels sturdy, and seems like it should last a good many uses. This seems really well themed to ren fests, larps, cosplays, and halloween costumes that are themed to earthy characters like a dryad, druid, or forest elfs. It sits pretty sturdy and stable on the head but will slide forward and backward if you lift or drop your head. If you will be wearing it for extended period you may want to find additional ways you could help secure it in place.

One of the flowers was separated and not attached to the headband. I’m sure I could fix it with a glue gun but then I’d have to go buy one. I’m disappointed, for the price I’d expect it to be intact.
