The project design was really interesting to me and the 8 YO granddaughter. Some getting used to the instructions was necessary for lego brand enthusiasts. They are really pretty good, just a little different. We were missing a piece about 2/3 of the way into assembly and lucky we could leave the connecting piece off without affecting the whole build too much. The designs painted on to the clear windows are very nice. The flower stems were sometimes hard to push through the flower holes. Overall it is a nice kit. It's just so disappointing to have that missing piece. Even if someone who didn't build it would probably never know. Some of the pieces were a little off name brand quality, but not so much that it affected the outcome. If you need a good rainy day project, and want to save a little $$, these kits are great.

I got this for my 6 year old granddaughter. I helped her assemble it by finding parts and showing her from the instructions where they went. The instructions are very good. She enjoyed the assembly and now plays with it, rearranging some of the floral decorations. It is also a nice display piece. I will likely get her another from the set.

I’ve gotten 2 sets (different designs) and they were so easy to build. And I even moved with one of them and it held together very well. You can’t really play with it once it’s built but it’s super cute for decorating and the two sets snap together very easy
