Q: Safe to use on Velvet ?

I have a deep burgundy velvet sofa. I am not sure if it’s ok. But having used the sponges for months now I wouldn’t and I’ve not.I’m thinking that little pieces of the sponge may break off, which mine does from time to time. I wouldn’t want that on my furniture I use a sticky roller(lint remover) what ever you call it on the velvet. It picks up everything and leaves no residue. I used a roller or my vacuum attachment for the 5 years I’ve had my velvet furniture. Good luck.

No, you’d tear the sponge on the Velcro. Google says use a toothbrush. This product is fabulous in getting pet hair off of furniture.

It’s the absolute best product for removing pet hair from clothes, furniture or any other surface because it doesn’t make noise, make a stain, leave an odor, leave a residue or break. Unlike lint rollers, it doesn’t require refills. It’s easy to clean because it collects hair right on its surface, and you just take hair off and toss it out. Quick and easy. You buy it, you use it for a few years, and when it starts to decompose, you buy a new one. They used to sell them at Home Depot, and I don’t know why they stopped. I’ve given them to friends with pets, and they all like them.
