This is a much needed for any house kitchen in the event that there might be a fire one day. This blanket is a good size for a stove fire with instructions on the back for use. It is easily hung up so people in the house know where to locate it. Considering how quickly fires spread this is a much needed piece of equipment which is often overlooked

Disclaimer: I have fortunately not used this product to put out a fire. My review is purely based on its appearance and feel.I got this fire blanket for our home kitchen. I have a 12 and 14-year-old who are starting to cook for themselves, so I wanted some extra reassurance.The fire blanket comes with two large stickers to identify where it is located. The blanket is wrapped in easy-release, red packaging which may be hung easily on the wall on a hook or screw. I used a command hook to secure it, and it took the weight without any issue. There are instructions about how to use the blanket on the outside of the wrapper. To use, you pull down firmly on the release tags and so for this reason, it really needs to be hung up rather than kept in a drawer.The dimensions are as described in the Amazon listing. This feels like a quality product and appears to be exactly as described.

Fortunately, I've never had to use a fire blanket in an emergency but I've received a lot of statutory fire training over the years involving tackling live fires (out in the hotel car park, of course!) I've always considered a fire blanket to be a basic necessity in any kitchen and in many ways, preferable to a powder extinguisher, which can sometimes cause more damage than the fire alone.This particular fire blanket is as well made as any and is of an average size, at around 1M square. Some blankets are a little larger and I'd recommend those for any commercial use where they may have to be used to extinguish a fire on a person. However, one this size is ideal for domestic environments and will fit completely across a regular-sized hob.The two 'Fire Blanket' stickers are a nice inclusion and whilst there are instructions printed on the storage envelope, I'd have liked them to be a little clearer and show that the blanket should be turned back on itself so that it covers the backs of your hands before you calmly drape it over the fire. The chef, shown in the advert photo putting out a pan fire, is holding it incorrectly and would probably end up with scorched fingers. However, that's a fairly minor point and instructional videos aren't in short supply online. Other than that, there's not much to dislike about this fire blanket.

I got this emergency fire blanket as I didn't have anything in my kitchen for safety. This has a long shelf life of 10 years and by reading the instructions it seems very easy to use. The blanket is 3.3 foot by 3.3 foot. It is made of 100 percent glass fibres. It is a good size which means it can be easily stored and will never expire. Fortunately not use this product to actually put out a fire so this review is just based on looking at it. I definitely feel happier having you in the home than without hopefully I will never need to use it but I am pleased to have it

Lets face it. No one wants to use a fire blanket in their home. If there is a need for one, there is a problem.However, there is more of a problem should you have need of one but have nothing with which to address the need.This fire blanket (and others) are remarkably cheap. I can see no reason why you would not have one in your home.This particular fire blanket comes in a bright red bag, from which two tabs emerge. Just pull on the tabs to get it out (or undo the velcro...), the blanket itself is just over 1 meter square. It is not particularly thick, so is not cumbersome or too heavy. The manufacturer states it achieves its effectiveness through the use of fiberglass and a flame retardant to smother a fire in the early stages.I hope never to have a use for this product but it will now be there if I do.

This large easy-to-operate fire blanket is one of those distress purchases that are mandated by law if one is operating an AirBnB or B&B or similar: it is required by hope never to have to use it!The use of this fire blanket is shown in pictorial form on the front of the package but it is also very instinctive, in that there are two black tabs that hand down when the blanket is hung in a verticle position.Very good value for money and a good size to tackle a hob fire or to place over the seat of a small fire to gain time to evacuate a building.There is little to go wrong with this and at the price, it would be worth having more than one.

This is a very affordable fire blanket for home use, perfect to keep in a kitchen or similar. At such a low cost, if this proves to be effective at all in the event of a fire then it will more than pay for itself. It's so cheap that I can't see any good reason not to buy one and keep it around just in case.The bright red cover is very visible. There's a notch to make it easy to mount or hang on a wall. It comes with stickers that I can't see myself ever using, but maybe somebody will get some value out of them. Overall, it's a bargain.

A great gift to buy for those family members you don't trust in the kitchen. Thankfully haven't had to use it, yet, but it'll be there when they do! Great price, seems well built, easy to use, comes with handy stickers to label area to find blanket! Overall very satisfied!

For under $8 per unit (when purchased in multiple of 4), this gives you security if a fire was to break out. So easy to use and can even be reused. I put one near the stove, one in garage, one by the fireplace and one downstairs by the workbench.

Und für Küchen ist immer auch eine Brandschutzdecke sinnvoll, wenn man nicht den Spezialfeuerlöscher hat, der für brennendes Öl auch geeignet ist.Diese Brandschutzdecke yist in einer Verpackung, die mit Loch einfach an einem Haken befestigt werden kann, unten gibt es dann einen Klettverschluss, aus dem zwei Laschen herausragen, an denen man im Notfall die Decke gleich so herausziehen kann, dass sie sich dabei gleich richtig öffnet. So ist sie schnell einsatzbereit. Zusätzlich gibt es einen großen Hinweisaufkleber, den man in Büros und öffentlichen Räumen sinnvoller Weise aufkleben sollte. Die Decke wirkt hochwertig.Leider ist der Text mit der Beschreibung auf der Verpackung der Decke in Englisch. Allerdings sollten Personen, die oft am Standort sind, wo die Decke hängt sind, sowieso einmal eine Einschulung bekommen, wie so eine Decke eingesetzt wird. Was mir hier fehlt, ist ein Hinweis, dass die Decke, sofern sie auf einem Herd über einer brennenden Pfanne benutzt wird, gespannt gehalten werden soll, damit nicht eventuell brennendes Öl durch das Gewebe der Decke kommt, wenn die Decke auf den Pfannenboden sinkt.Praktisch finde ich, dass diese Decke auch verwendet werden kann, brennende Kleidung am Körper einer Person schnell zu löschen. Sie ist mit einem m2 zwar nicht riesig, aber im Notfall trotzdem eine schnell verfügbare Hilfe.--Ich teste für Amazon Vine Produkte und bekomme diese dafür gratis zur Verfügung gestellt. Ich bin bei der Abgabe meiner Bewertung dabei völlig unbeeinflusst und hoffe auch mit dieser Rezension eine Hilfe zur Entscheidungsfindung geben zu können.

Et très content de ne pas avoir à la tester ?Je recommande vivement dans une cuisine : vous pouvez la pendre dans son étui qui comporte des œillets, pas trop loin de votre four.Les couvertures anti feu sont très efficaces pour étouffer un départ de feu avec de l’huile (il ne faut jamais éteindre une huile qui prend feu avec de l’eau : vous n’allez faire que propager l’incendie). Une casserole ou une friteuse qui s’enflamme ? Pas de panique : tirez la couverture et jetez la sur le départ d’incendie. Efficacité garantie.
