First of all, I love this camera. It’s very crisp and clear and runs really smooth. It was easy to install and works well with the app. The value was great, so far it is lasting long and runs at great speed. It definitely adds an extra sense of security!

Ti’vee bedn w Arlo sone their Pro2’s. The Pro5S is a mych better camera. It’s160 deg field of view, and it’s 2K resolution make it a good fit for my needs. I have 5 pro 2’s and 5 Pro 5’s in two different locations.The Pro 5’s are easy to install to a hub via the app. (Note: the app is $130/yr.). Easy to share w others, including via the grandfathered free app. Decent battery life, and mostly constant 100% charge on solar.Clearly, I wll stay w/ Arlo.

In today’s day and age, crime documentaries are a girls go to. Unfortunately, with that comes paranoia. I live in a very safe area, so I never really worry. But since moving into a pre 1900 farm house in the country, I’ve noticed things go bump in the night. I couldn’t wait to get this bad boy up and am I ever impressed!! Super clear video, audio, and the AI feature is nuts! We have a lot of wild animals (not to mention our own furry critters) and for it to realize it’s not a person at our door is incredible. I had charged it when I first received it and let it sit and the battery was STILL full when I went to install the mount. Set up was a breeze with the app. It’s heavy and sturdy, decently sized.. and as someone who decorates year round, it’s pretty sharp looking too. Get it!

Simple ready to go camera. I think it does a great job even though the built quality might make you think it’s weak it has pretty good images. Very responsive when it comes to movement and the night vision works.The audio also works. If you want you can get the perks with the subscription or just use it as it is. Either way pretty good product

This is one of those things you love and hate at the same time. I love wireless setup, it was the easy way for me to have security system with little effort on my part. I found these clip things that you can put into the side of your home or garage with no damage to building and will stay in place so makes it work so easy. Now, this is my second group of Arlo cameras and they mostly work. However this set I got the home hub so I could get away from paying a monthly fee to keep my videos so I can get them. Put the memory card in and after the year of almost free I wanted to stop paying. So, when I did that I learned that I would not be able to see the videos unless I opened each one, so this seems to kind of defeat the entire system for what I wanted to begin with. So, I signed up for another cloud year to see if I can work around that with success. So far I have not, so not sure what I will do when it comes again. I like having my own save method, as I don't what the in the cloud anyway. So, I love the cameras most of the time, but had to replace one, and then found out I could save it, so just hard to go through all the help things on their site to find the answers. So, I have to say they are pretty good cameras, but I just am not liking how it operates for me. Good things and mixed feelings things, but guess that is how a lot of things work, so just wanted to help explain the not so good with the good. Bob

Me considero muy bueno con tecnología, sin embargo tomé más de una hora y media en configurar la cámara ya que la aplicación es una pesadilla.La cámara funciona muy bien y tiene muy buena calidad de video, pero para poder usar todo lo que ofrece, es necesario una suscripción. Ya que es una cámara Wi-Fi, si se te va la luz no quedará el video guardado en ningún lugar, a pesar de ser una cámara inalámbrica con batería integrada.Las notificaciones inteligentes se pueden configurar iguales para todo un grupo de cámaras y no diferentes por cámara.No lo volveré a comprar por los costos elevados de la suscripción y la mala interfaz de la aplicación.

I have the pro 3 purchased from Costco a few years ago, cameras work well, needed a little update for the front yard, this camera works well and the 2K resolution has sufficient detail.Again Good Wireless Camera, about 40' of reasonable signal through walls. 50+ feet (direct line of sight).

I bought these cameras as I know people who have them and can access the recorded footage easily and at no cost.....free, the friend's arlo cameras had an easy mount as well. This is not the case at all with these crap cameras. These cameras are heavy and the mount does not hold well and camera drops and points to ground. I was willing to work with that thinking I had good cameras with accessible recordings....not.The online subscription runs out after the date I can return them....then I find out I cannot see or access any recordings unless I pay. I already paid $800!!!!! I was lead to believe I had some cloud storage for free.Ok, so I have a USB port for storage so I will use that I'm thinking. I get that set up but find out I can never access any recordings when I am away from home. So if I am not home and not same internet as my Arlo system, I cannot see any recordings even when a person is detected at my house. No mic ability or sound eitherThese cameras are USELESS to me and NOT worth the $800.I would like to get my $800 back since all of this became evident after my return window expired. This was by design of course

Purchased Arlo door bell and older model eccential camera . Models all have major issues picking up movement in custom zones set up by your own settings. The 5s camera when power levels drop to 10% Constantly triggering text message alerts very far outside of your custom set up zones . In turn degrading battery life to three days even when hooked up to Arlo optional solar panel that is in a sunny area most of the day. BTW solar panel charging plugs are different types between both camera . Have to purchase different ones. One is magnetic other is micro usb . Also found night vision much better in the lower cost older eccential camera. The 5 s is much newer and 2 megapixel but performance much lower than the older eccential model. Called customer support tech but seem to be perplexed as to why and did not offer any answers so far . The paid subscription AI picking up cars driving down the street and interpreting them as animal movement in alerts . They still have a long way to go with software issues .
