Note: I haven’t used this yet!It was a bit expensive of a purchase for not using much but I bought it for emergency use and hiking. Sometimes you can get caught out with no water in the middle of a summer walk and I thought this would make a good companion for those day trips. I need to purchase some back up filters. I can’t comment on its functionality but I believe it to be better than some of the other brands. For example, I like that once you’ve pressed the water you can drink it straight away. I know from having another carbon filter bottle that sucking the water through the straw was such a chore! So I’m hoping this is a big improvement on that.

What a piece of kit. I have used this on my travels and cannot recommend it highly enough! Sure, it takes a fair push to get the crystal clear and fine tasting water into the internal container but oh my is it worth the effort. The unit is robust, conveniently sized so it fits in the rucksack water bottle pocket and works like a dream. If you’re travelling and have any doubts about water quality, pack this in your backpack!
