Used to safety tether the tour pack lid on Harley-Davidson. Worked perfect. Loops are sized for 1/4" studs with some type of normal sized washer.

I bought these to use on my GoPros but at the last minute I used one as backup security for a phone on a motorcycle mount for an iPhone and shortly into the ride, the mount that had never failed before, dropped the phone and the cable saved it. My lucky day.

I purchased this after a recommendation from a GoPro Youtube video. I used it to secure my GoPro to the top of my vehicle for a 300 mile drive (I used a magnet to actually attached the GoPro to the roof of my vehicle and one of these cables to wrap it around my roof rack in case the GoPro became detached from the car, which it did not). It was easy to put together, very sturdy and it worked perfectly. Simple as that.

Reviews of Go Pro cameras when on external mounts like suction cup mounts on cars indicate sometimes they fall off, and the camera is LOST or damaged if driving with the camera mounted on a door, etc. So they recommend safety cables and this is what I intend to use them for. I tried a suction mount on my convertible during a parade and used a makeshift safety wire, which fortunately worked when the suction mount lost the grip, so now I will use these, never trusting one of the suction mounts.

I bought these for a recent trip to Hawaii. I have a drawstring lightweight backpack that I like to use for day trips or trips to the beach. This trip I rented a beach chair w/umbrella for the week. So I used the green wire and thread it through the top of the back and it fit nicely (could have used the longer one but though it might be too loose) and used the the top pop lock to close it. I also connected the red wire to drape the bag high on the umbrella pole while connected to the back lower by tightening the green wire and the bags normal string. No issues. Only thing that would make everything perfect would be if there are no cut/no tear drawstring bags. I’m using these new improved bag for daily use now. Easily locks bags to chairs.

I attach my GoPro to top of windshield of my Jeep. These little jewels make for great safety cords in case for some reason the suction cup holding the camera comes loose and falls. So far on harshest off road that has never happened, but if it did I would probably have a ruined camera. Peace of mind in a small package. Worth purchasing. Better safe than sorry

Multi sizes make it versatile for any application from suction board mounts to scuba sticks to helmet cams. HAs saved the camera from being lost many times. Strongly recommend.

This is something you should consider for your GoPro. They come in different lengths and will work well for what they are—a simple insurance item to keep that GoPro in check, so it doesn't go missing unexpectedly.

The cables are thin (2mm as advertised) but they’re perfect for what we need them for and are of decent quality.

I have always been worried about the risk of having a GoPro detach from its mount when I am recording on my motorcycle or mountain bike adventures, or when filming in an area where a dropped camera would be lost, such as over the edge of a building or cliff or on water. These tethers provide a quick, easy and cheap yet robust means of ensuring that a dropped or detached camera is not lost or damaged.

Very nice wires, well put together, good colours, nice to have a variety of lengths. But, I was hoping they might work with a small padlock, as security cables. 0.08 inches wire is too thin for that. I think you could cut these with sturdy scissors, certainly with a multitool.

I use these as safety tethers to safeguard my GoPro cameras when I attach them to various areas on the outside of my Jeep. Great peace of mind to know that, if the camera mount fails, I won't lose my camera somewhere down along the trail.

The plastic covered stainless steel is very strong and flexible. I have used the various lengths a few times in different situations and found them quite adaptable. If you give it some thought, you can come up with your own ideas for multiple functions that are not even mentioned in the description.
