Great item
Arrived early. Easy to assemble and great quality.. Brought 2 for 2 stray cats that live in my garden. Added straw and both have been occupied since. Lovely little hutch and perfect size. Really happy with item.

better to use the cardboard box
the worst thing i have ever seen as a flat pack. wanted to buy something sturdier for son's guinea pigs and he asked for it for christmas. wanted to build it with him buut ended up in the shed for an hour an a half sorting the damn thing out. instructions were awful and would have been better if they had provided those for a hillman imp or how to empty a chemical toilet. the lid was flimsy and had to be drilled and screwed to so it didnt fall apart. the whole thing is shoddy, states it is for outdoor use, then needs to be taken in to stop it from weathering. the hinge is cheap, will not shut properly and is highly likely to bend in a light breeze. the carcass of this monstrosity had to be bodged as it did not fit together and then glued, drilled and screwed. frankly it would have been better if i'd have hollowed out the dead fox i saw on the a1 and used that as a refuge. this does not pass for a shelter or even a pile of wood to burn. don't buy it.So, have finally got fed up with this. Fell apart when trying to retrieve guinea pig from inside. Son very upset. Contacted service who asked for me to return item. This massive package was collected from home by EVRI person who did not leave receipt. No reply from company, despite me sending this a fortnight ago. Now have been told to provide the receipt that was never left. Why couldn't I have just sent images of useless shack, rather than sending it? Have nowhere to go. My son is fed up, I'm fed up, the guinea pigs are rapidly draining the east of england of cardboard boxes to sit and wee in. Please don't bother.

Good as a small hutch
The size is good. Using this as a second hutch to provide alternative shelter in the garden. I put it together myself apart from the hinge/bracket which holds the roof open. I got a friend to fit that. Very lightweight, not the strongest wood, but it’s fit for purpose.

Good for the price
This appears ok and once put together is quite sturdy, however common sense would have been better than looking at the instructions. All was fine except for the floor which was in 2 pieces, not 1 and doesn’t fit properly so I had to find an extra piece of wood or the tortoise would have got his leg stuck in the gap. Would have given extra star if it wasn’t for the floor.

Easy to assemble
Easy to assemble and ideal for all small animals. Light and waterproof. Can be used indoors as well.

Flimsy
Far from perfect, the floor has a gap and the whole structure is made from a flimsy wood. Constructed quite easily but without my drill it would have been a pain. Being flimsy, care when drilling and screwing was necessary to prevent splitting. Some wood had already split in the box before I has started, but not enough to prevent me from building it.Honestly, if I hadn't needed it immediately, I would have sent it back and looked for a better one, but I've stuck with it now. After a couple of weeks it has stayed together and hasn't warped yet, hopefully it will last but I have my doubts.Since writing, the screws holding the door are falling out (after 2 weeks use). Don't waste your money on this, it won't last outside.
