The camera is relatively easy to set up, you do have to buy an SD card for it, I bought a 32 gig SanDisk for $24 at best buy, only problem I had is that the slot is hard to put the SD card in. What I mean is that you need to push down relatively hard until you hear a click. Other than that its fine! It has options to not record while driving and to only record if a collision happens, or to turn the microphone off so no one can hear you singing to your favorite Brittany Spears song if something happens. Over all I really like it! It's cheap and works great! Real easy to figure out as well!

This little camera is actually pretty impressive for the money. First, it's tiny. It hides behind my rear view mirror easily. Second, it works well in all lighting conditions. I travel quite a bit for my job, and this little camera has been very handy to have. The instructions are not the best and it's obvious they were translated into English, but it's intuitive enough that it's rather easy to figure out regardless. Pared with a micro SD card, this is a good gift for those who drive frequently.

The media could not be loaded. 02/21/18. The seller has agreed to send me a replacement. I will install it and see how it goes. Changed by rating to 3 stars for now.I'll update again as I see fit. BTW, my video was made several years ago from a $45 camera that lasted almost 3 years before it stopped writing to the SD card. A replacement lasted another 2.5 years before it too stopped writing to the SD card. Different brand. Returned to Amazon. Had it installed for a week then the screen started to turn black. It got progressively worse over a few days. Like the LCD imploded. I noticed the screen was very loose on one side. Tight on the other. The mounting clip is very tight. Too tight. It's hard to pop off the mount to bring into the house. It will eventually break for sure. The best thing is to turn the plastic knob and remove that way. Otherwise once the clip breaks it will be duct tape time.Additionally, There is no playback on the camera itself. Well, why would you need a playback since nothing ever wrote to the sd card. Correct. Nothing. I checked the card in another device. Works fine. Format it, re-insert to camera. Run for 15 minutes. Still no saved videos.The instruction sheet is a joke. It's badly translated from Chinese to English. And no illustrations to go along with what they are trying to articulate.All in all a total disappointment. Save your money for a better device. These things can be rather important in an accident. So having the video actually save is a plus! Saved my butt once. Some guy said I rear-ended him. The video says different.

Camera has been service for almost 5 mo and it's still going strong. There is a little lag on the monitor versus what's being recorded, but that doesn't show up on playback. The camera is of decent quality and fits in the palm of your hand. Considering my other one only lasted 6 mo, I'm hoping this one can go the distance and at least last a year or two.

Worked fine initially, then the screen went black and would never work again regardless of what I did to correct it.
