Very mild-mannered Brazilian...
When does mild coffee just become weak coffee? I think this Specialty Brazilian Coffee sits right on the borderline between the two. It's actually very nice coffee that's got a lightness and slight sweetness that makes a pleasant change but the flavour is so meek compared to most. You can even see it from the beans which are a matte mid-brown nutty colour and very different to the shiny near-black high-roast beans you often get. You can also see it when you grind them because they're a very dry bean with very little oil (which often carries the bitterness) and not much gets left behind in your coffee mill afterwards.None of this is bad, if you like a milder coffee you might love this but I find I need to beef it up a bit by adding some stronger darker beans into the grind and then you get something special. Maybe these beans on their own are best for mild-loving coffee drinkers only?

Very mild
This coffee is very very mild. The beans themselves area super light colour and very dry, when grinding them there is very little greasy residue and they grind very finely without any grittiness. The coffee does not pack a punch and I think is more suited for a lazy Sunday than a manic Monday

Delicious Colombian roast
Delicious coffee beans, i ordered Colombian which is a medium to dark roast and tastes really good to me. Ground well in my bean to cup machine, no issues whatsoever and a perfect resulting cup. I like the short and sweet bean information on the bag although it does specify that they are hand roasted in Denmark.333g bag at £9.99 which works out about £30 per kilo and is over double what i usually pay for good quality beans. Whilst these are really good, they would have to be better value in order for me to buy them again.

A fine coffee but not a great coffee
The Brew Company’s Honduras coffee beans arrive in a non-recyclable zip lock printed bag - suitable for a gift.In the bag are 333g of pale coffee beans from Honduras. These are a single-site collection of beans certified by fair trade and the rainbow alliance. Printed on the bag is the best-before date (25.05.2024).Opening the bag there was a strong aroma of quality coffee. There was a symbol on the package suggesting a medium roast but the beans were lightish in colour so I guess perhaps a medium roast but on the light side.I ground the beans using a hand rotatory grinder. The beans were hard to grind - quite firm. When ground I used a stainless steel coffee maker - I also made filter coffee. The coffee was light in colour with a mild first taste but a pleasant aftertaste that was quite rich. I don’t know about the claimed apple, cherry, orange and peach from the tasting notes. It tasted like coffee - and gentle flavour (so best as black coffee) but pleasant. The caffeine was certainly there.I preferred the taste of the filtered coffee - and coffee using a grinder rather than a blade is usually worth the additional work.At its current price of £10.00 for 333g; puts this coffee in the higher price range compared to other options available from Amazon. I cannot find a justification for this price premium.Overall an interesting coffee - not my favourite but will certainly enjoy drinking it from time to time

A pleasant, if pricey coffee
This fair trade Guatamalan coffee comes with the slogan "Be your own barista", which is not to be confused with the term "barrister" It's said that anyone who defends themself in court has a fool for a client. Not so, for he who brews his own coffee. With a modern espresso machine you can't go too far wrong. This blend tastes rather good, although it's a little expensive compared to some alternatives. The fair trade designation means that they are neither permitted to use physical intimidation in order to acquire a good price, nor even to drive a hard bargain via negotiation skill. That's all very well for the farmer, but not so good for the consumer. Personally, I'd happily send in a small armed militia, if it would lower the price. Still, it's the baristas for the likes of Starbucks who have the biggest fools for clients. This is still a lot cheaper than the kind of muck that they serve in there, with none of those awful robusta beans.

Nice smooth coffee beans.
These coffee beans come in a resealable bag which is useful. At 300g, it is larger than the bags I usually buy from the supermarket which are 227g.The beans were evenly roasted and in a good condition. I used a bean to cup coffee machine and they grind well and produced a mellow, smooth and fruity coffee. It tastes very nice, not too strong or bitter. I loved the coffee but it is a lot more expensive than the coffees that I usually buy.

Pleasant tasting coffee beans
Tested in a manual grinder, these coffee beans grind well. The taste is good, somewhat chocolatey and earthy. Priced a little high when compared to supermarket beans but for an everyday coffee, these beans are decent.
