Excellent. A well known blind/curtain man put this up for me so he should know how to do it. The rail is excellent, looks great and unobtrusive. The man said it was easy to manhandle and bend out from the bay window back along the wall, so was no problem. It seems very secure. An excellent purchase for a tricky, non standard, bay window.

Good curtain rail

This is an excellent low-cost solution to hanging curtains around bay windows. As many 'corners' as required can be put in it, although care must be taken to avoid twisting the rail so that it is no longer horizontal. I have heavy curtains (lined jacquard fabric, 2010 drop 6 x 135 fabric widths) hanging on just about 4.3 metres of rail. At this weight I found that the curtains did not immediately run as smoothly and easily as I would like (was usable but awkward), so we squirted the rail with Sailkote (dry lubricant by McLube) and it now runs like a dream. Sailkote is expensive (I had some already), but it's brilliant stuff for lubricating anything that slides.My only criticism of the rail is that with heavy lined curtains, using two magnetic gliders is perhaps not the best way to get a 'light free' gap between the curtains, because there is too much fabric between the two magnets making the attraction weak. With a bit of fiddling and avoiding any folds in the last couple of inches of each edge it just about works. However, if I were putting the rail up again, I would use the more traditional 'overhanging rails' approach.Overall I am very pleased with the end result - much better than the plastic rails, with much tighter corners easily achievable. I would recommend (indeed I have already to friends and family).

Prompt delivery, well packed, best curtain rail I've ever fitted - solid rail, brackets(more than enough in pack) and runners, no snagging even round 90 degree bends; easy to bend ....and unbend mistakes less than 70 degrees!!

A very easy and straightforward system to fit tour 6 section bay window. Very clear instructions of how to assemble and make the bends to fit our bay. Very strong and secure system which uses metal clips to secure the rail. In every respect superior to plastic systems.

Instruction and everything you need in the package more then enough.Easy to bend .

Great curtain rail, second one I have bought for another room. Bay windows. Hubby says better to pay a little more for Aluminium rail than plastic. Will last longer.😊
