swoon-worthy and heartfelt
REVIEWcw: dysfunctional parental dynamic, ADHD and type 1 diabetes side-effects, brief mention of addictionViggo Bergman is the die-hard romantic of his family, firmly holding out for true love. He's a giver, always helping the people around him, often to the detriment of his wellbeing. As he prepares to open his romance bookstore, he realises he needs help. Tallulah Clarke is the romance-averse, cynical sister of Charlie, Viggo's sister's best friend. She's also got a terrible case of writer's block. When she's reunited with Viggo, they come to an agreement. She'll help him out in the bookstore, in exchange for a room in Viggo's apartment and some help from him with the romance aspect of the thriller she's writing. But as they grow closer, these opposites find they complement each other. Can Tallulah open herself up to love? This was the most exquisite slow-burn romance! I loved finally getting to know Viggo more and adored his pure heart. He was absolutely the definition of a cinnamon roll, and there were so many occasions when he still managed to surprise me with his caring nature and thoughtfulness. But he was also very amusing. He had brilliant banter, even when he was unsure of himself, and I adored the development of his friendship (and eventually, more) with Tallulah. Tallulah was such an interesting character, and I loved that we got her POV early on, confirming the mutual pining (which is, by far, one of my favourite tropes). And oh, how she pined! The chemistry was palpable throughout. And that first kiss? Phew!. As I mentioned, the slow-burn was perfect, and the wait for more intimacy (just like the characters) only made it more swoony when it finally happened. But I also loved their quieter moments. The cuddle was EPIC, but I loved the scenes where Tallulah finally opened up about her family and life before moving in with Viggo. There were also some exceptionally funny scenes. The banter between them was sublime. Viggo's 'near death' ride was absolutely hilarious, and I loved him talking to Ashbury as if the car was a human. The IKEA scene, and especially Viggo's indignation made me cackle laughing, but I also adored the vulnerability expressed by both main characters in the following scenes. But the best parts wereI also appreciated the representation of ADHD and Type 1 Diabetes. I thought Viggo's ADHD was really well-written, especially his struggles with over-extending himself, sleeping and the side effects of medication. Likewise, Tallulah's diabetes was sensitively handled and I found it refreshing to see that the author chose to show Tallulah managing her illness, rather than using it for dramatic effect. The Bergman interactions were as wonderful as always. I've adored the meddling siblings dynamic throughout this series and was so happy to see it continued in Viggo's story (particularly as he'd done so much of it in previous books 😉). I've always loved the 'Bergman Summits', but I particularly loved their quieter, one-on-one moments, especially between Viggo and Oliver. I also loved the reassuring scene between Tallulah, Rooney, Willa, and Frankie. The final chapters were so stinking cute. I absolutely ADORED the end of chapter 30, it genuinely felt like a scene from a rom-com movie. As for the following chapters and the epilogue? They were perfection. This was THE perfect way to end this gorgeous series, and even though I was so sad to say goodbye to this beautiful family and their life partners*, I finished the book with a huge grin on my face.Swoon-worthy, and heartfelt.Overall Rating: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Heat Rating: 🔥🔥*I would LOVE a NextGen series at some point in the future!

A sweet conclusion to the Bergman Brothers series!
It feels bittersweet reviewing the final Bergman novel. After committing to the lives of these characters it’s strange knowing there won’t be another book. As anticipated, this book follows beloved Bergan, Viggo. A consistent side character throughout all the books, he finally gets his time to shine.Viggo, a fanatic romance reader like most of us, remained quite mysterious in the previous books. He was always supportive of his siblings, and you can see this selflessness in Only and Forever.Viggo has kept a secret from his large family which is his plan to open a bookshop featuring an abundance of romance books! Something he is well known for throughout the series. Our heroine in this book, Tallulah is a thriller author and has a history with Viggo from their time in college. After a Bergman family friend, and Tallulah’s sister returns to the infamous A-Frame with her in tow the pair are reunited in a tense and steamy exchange. The pair settle on a deal: in exchange for advice and inspiration for her next novel, Tallulah will help out in Viggo’s bookstore and become roommates in the above apartment for a few months.Viggo is an abundance of feelings and emotions while Tallulah has her guard up for anyone but her sister. The pair get to know one another on a deeper level and soon friendship develops into more, blurring the lines between roommates/colleagues/friends to lovers.I was so happy to see Viggo’s happily ever after and six books of him aiding his siblings and navigating them through their issues. It was also great to see previous couples and seeing where their relationships are which many now include children, making the Bergman clan even bigger.I’m excited to see what Chloe Liese will write next. If you’re desperate for a Liese fix, then books one and two in the Wilmot Sisters have already been released with the third in the pipeline currently.

a beautiful, life affirming end to the series
Oh but this book was everything. So sweet. So healing. It made me laugh and cry and want another 14 books following the lives of this incredible family that Chloe has created. I have loved every single one of these books.

perfect
I don’t know if I have words for how perfect this book is, both as an ending to this series but also just as a beautiful book all on its own. This was perfect in every way.

Heartwarming Conclusion to Series
Ah another unicorn of a Bergman man - reads romance, lives to help others, loves animals, crochets, coaches kids soccer, bakes, tall, handsome, adult virgin saving himself for true love… If it sounds like I’m bothered about this, I’m not 😂 I read romance for escapism and that’s what this series is all about to me. And even though Viggo Bergman sounds like a fantasy, he’s actually written is such a believable way. I’m rooting for him the whole time.Viggo and Talulah meet again after brief interactions at college - he was smitten with her then and is even more so now as he gets to know her. He’s a hopeless romantic but she doesn’t even believe in love. They both learn to adjust their thoughts on love as they feel an inexplicable pull to each other. I loved it. A heartwarming conclusion to a cozy series. What to expect:- kind of a second chance romance- roommates to lovers- found family- slow burn- golden retriever MMC- quite spicy

A wonderful goodbye to the Bergmans
This was such a delicious slow burn of a romance. I really enjoyed the set up and how the chemistry between Viggo and Tallulah was palpable from the beginning.I liked how they brought the best out of each other and how they gave the other space to grow and figure their stuff out.The growth of Tallulah was so beautifully done and it was wonderful to see her open up and let herself love and be loved. Viggo was such a great counter to her.I loved the dynamic of the Bergmans and how they rallied around to help both of them. This was such a heartwarming story and a lovely end to this series

see you later bergmans
Infinity and beyond stars for Viggo and Tallulah 💛“My heart has been, and always will be, only and forever yours.”Viggo Fredrick Bergaman…..you deserve the world and you finally got it with Tallulah. These two are so beautiful together. They understand each other so perfectly and are everything they each need. I loved getting to know the real Viggo. He’s not just a chaos demon, he’s a man who loves romance books, plants, baking, crocheting/knitting, pottery, his adorable pets, coaching children's soccer, his beloved car Ashbury, being a fun uncle, an amazing brother and a stunning lover. I cried too much with these two and all they did was cuddle (iykyk). This family…..wow. The little updates in chapter 5 of all the couples…..I’m not okay. I need more. I know it's Viggo and Lula’s book but I need more of the family. I think i may have liked the little Bergman sister in law summit in the hallways then the real Bergman brother summit lol. To see all these girls bond over being scared to be in this family and relating so much to each other. You don’t realize they’re all similar until that moment. And the love these brothers/in laws have for each other. Gosh i’m gonna cry again. Bravo Papa and Mama B for these stunning children. You did good. (you too Chloe)I can’t believe there will be no more new Bergman books coming out. It makes me sad but I’m also so happy Chloe shared this beautiful family with us. Thank you Chloe for writing my favourite and comfort series. These characters have been so relatable and just feel like a giant hug. I can’t wait to continue rereading and listening to these books forever. Hopefully we see them again sometime.

Fantastic end to a beloved series
Only and Forever is a fantastic conclusion to the Bergmans series. Chloe Liese takes struggling characters who have completely different world views on romance, and shows how they are perfect for one another.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Viggo’s been secretly working on his passion project, his own romance bookstore, for a while now. He’s just about to reveal all to his family when he’s shocked to see his sister’s BFF’s sibling at his family’s A-frame. He remembers Tallulah as his college crush. But now Tallulah is a successful author struggling to write her second book; it involves a romantic relationship, and as someone who doesn’t believe in love, she’s having a tough time. With Viggo’s knowledge of romance and interpersonal relationships, he can help right? And when Tallulah needs a place to stay, he has space, so why wouldn’t he offer his spare room? But can these two keep their attraction under wraps when they are staying in such close quarters?I’ve waited for Viggo’s story for ages, and I had a theory that his end game was someone who’d say she didn’t believe in romance. Tallulah’s hesitance to jump into a romantic relationship is understandable, given her background. I love the way Viggo and Tallulah challenge each other’s status quo while being patient with each other as they learn how to open up. The ADHD and Type 1 diabetes representation is top notch too. Liese does a great job showing the daily ins and out of each diagnosis, not just the overall effects. And, it doesn’t hurt that this pair has chemistry that steams up every page.Aside from all the wonderful moments with Viggo and Talluluah, there are so many amazing Easter eggs for romance fans. From Viggo’s plant names to references to Mary Jane Wells’s audio prowess, I felt seen as someone who adores this genre.Only and Forever is a fantastic and satisfying conclusion to the Bergman family series. I adore Viggo and Tallulah, and their winding path to their HEA. Now I can’t wait to read what Chloe Liese writes next!

it’s not you it’s me
I really really wanted to love this book. I have loved Viggo as I read each Bergman book and maybe my expectations were too high? Maybe I’m not in a good headspace for this book. So while my current read and experience has the book at 3 stars I’m giving it a 4 because maybe I’ll like it more on another re-read down the road. The Bergmans are truly a wonderful family and the stories on each of them including this one always had me laughing or smiling a goofy smile. More than the love story between the two main characters- it is the family dynamics, the love and caring shown by the family to each other that really brings joy as you read each instalment.

Tallulah & Viggo 💙
I absolutely adored "Only and Forever" by Chloe Liese. Books featuring characters who are authors or book lovers always get extra points from me, and this one did not disappoint. The story brings a delightful blend of romance, humor, and heartfelt moments that kept me hooked from start to finish. One of the standout aspects of this book is the awareness it brings to diabetes through the character of Tallulah. Her journey with the disease is depicted with such authenticity and care that I found myself learning a lot. Despite thinking I knew a fair amount about diabetes, this book opened my eyes to the daily challenges and nuances that come with managing the condition.Viggo is simply adorable. He's such a sweet, genuine guy, and watching him find love was incredibly heartwarming. The chemistry between Viggo and Tallulah is palpable from the get-go. Their love story is the perfect blend of slow burn and undeniable attraction. Both characters are initially in denial about their feelings, which makes their journey to admitting their love all the more satisfying. What I loved most about Viggo and Tallulah's relationship is how real it felt. They aren't perfect, and their love story isn't without its bumps, but that's what makes it so relatable and endearing. The way they support and challenge each other through their individual struggles and growth is beautifully portrayed.Overall, "Only and Forever" is a charming, insightful, and thoroughly enjoyable read. Chloe Liese has crafted a story that's not just about finding love, but also about understanding and accepting oneself and others. If you're a fan of contemporary romance with depth and heart, this book is a must-read.
