- The Pitahaya, also called Dragon Fruit or Pitaya, is one of the finest and tasty fruit of the World, and it's magic! The Plant of Pitahaya it is a climbing shrub belonging to the family of Cactus, it has large and beautiful white flowers, which open only at night. The flowers will be in bloom for one night only, and after that will lose the petals, they will begin the natural process that will lead to the result of the fruit in one month.
- Many have tried to describe the taste of this magical fruit, some say that it is similar to Kiwi, Strawberry, Pear or Passion Fruit, I would say that the White Pitahaya simply does not resemble anything of what i had eaten before, certainly the Pitahaya is a fruit rich in minerals, free radicals, antioxidants, with very few calories and it helps to eliminate fat.

GUIDE PITAHAYA - FRUIT OF THE DRAGON The Pitahaya can be cultivated both for the beauty of its flowers for the goodness of its fruit. It lives very well in all areas where they are grown citrus and resists up to -3 °C (about 26 °F). If the temperature gets too low it have to be covered with clear plastic or capacity within local lit and not too cold. The soil to be used is the same that is used for succulents such as cacti. Being a climber also needs support. The Seeds should be placed near the surface lightly pressed. At first, the soil must remain always cool and the jar should be placed near a heater to promote seed germination. The germinations of the Pitaya is pretty easy.
