Rice Bran Carrier Oil is extracted from the bran or outer coat of the brown rice grain removed during the milling process. It is rich in vitamins, minerals, proteins and essential oils. Rice Bran Oil also has constituents believed to hinder UV rays absorption at the skin’s surface.

Amazing for the skin!
When I bought this, I had seen that rice bran was used in Korea and Japan for centuries, and they have beautiful skin and amazing treatments, so I just had to try it! I was going to buy the raw rice bran and use it as a shower scrub, but I don't want to make a huge mess. This is a great alternative! You get all the beautiful benefits without the huge mess in the shower!I'm truly stunned by how much it helps the skin. I have suffered from an un-diagnosed food allergy my entire life, and one of the problems caused by this allergy was dangerously dry skin (At 12 y/o I had a dermatologist say that in 40 years of being a dermatologist he'd never seen skin as dry as mine... yeah... ) Once we got the allergy under control my skin got better (because it could now repair itself), but it was still damn dry. I decided to try this and I'll never be without this stuff again. Also, this is a great price for the product! You only need at most 10 drops to cover your arms and hands and only 2 drops for your face! This amount will last you a while. Good purchase!

Excellent quality
This is exactly what I needed to season a brand new Australian spun steel camp oven. The product came in a sealed baggie, very helpful indeed. Hardly any smoke at 480F and didn't stink the house up.

Nice scent
This is great and smells good. I have tingling in my scalp as if I used peppermint oil. Have only used for two weeks so no results yet.

To Anna with Love
I received my order today and would've given a 4 star only because the lid on the bottle was loose and a little of the oil spilled in the bag. Tape was adhered to the lid/bottle to secure more, but it did not do the job. If I may suggest, perhaps the product would be more secure in a box with cushion surrounding it. With that being said, the special touch of putting a little sticker on the outside of the bag was very note worthy. The label was to indicate "handle with care - liquid contained, but what it indicated to me that someone actually took time to package my order. It may not mean much to some, but as a business owner myself, it is my opinion that putting such a personal touch often goes a long way. So I write this review to Anna with love <3

Great for hair and skin!
It's great on it's own or a good carrier oil for essential oils and spells too, if that's your thing! Don't apply it too close to your roots because it can make thick hair look greasy, but it's awesome for all hair types! It's one of the main ingredients in Oui's hair oil, and this seller shipped it very well. A little goes a long way! Sometimes I use it on my skin too, and it helps so much for my face, elbows, hands and legs!!!

Great for use with facial yoga/massage
When I discovered facial yoga I just used facial oils I had on hand . Those oils did fine, but I found I had to keep re-applying to my hands to keep them slick enough to continue the 20 min massage without pulling. The instructor recommended this rice bran oil, so I gave it a try. Wasn't expecting a big difference, but this really does work better than the facial olive oil, rose hip oil and castor oil I had tried previously. Definitely worth purchasing for this purpose.

One of my ingredients for DIY Tatcha Camelia Cleansing Oil
I use this with the Dr Adorable rice bran oil to make a DIY foot Tatcha Camelia cleansing oil, which I love but I I don't want to pay $60. The primary difference is that the Tatcha has an ingredient to emulsify the oil when splashed with water (I'm a chemcial engineer). So the Tatcha washes very clean. Just combining the two oils does not emulsify with water, but it does wipe clean with a damp cloth. To combat this, I mix in either some Tatcha oil or other cleaning oil that emulsified. The emulsifier from those will actually make these emulsify too! So I can extend my higher end oils for a VERY long time (even a sample of Tatcha mixed with triple these oils will work). You can use any oil that has emulsifiers (almost all do that turn white color when you add water and it rinses clean). But this is more natural, less extra checmicals, and lasts forever.
