Okay, so I'm a bit of a hipster and I got these mugs ironically. I think they have a nice look. I like the hand-painted aesthetic, but it really doesn't match any of my dishes or general life. It reminds me of mugs my parent's older church-lady friends would have in their homes when we would visit them when I was a kid in the 1980s.While I found the look warm, nostalgic, and even a bit pretty, my wife did not. In fact, I don't think it would be an understatement to say she panicked when she saw these. My wife's first response was, "THOSE ARE SO UGLY!" And her second observation regarded how many mugs we already own. Well. I can't argue with the fact we own many mugs. After some other descriptors like "thrift-store trash" and "why", she began to clean out closets and come up with some ideas on how we could rearrange our furniture. I can't explain it, but it was obvious that these mugs made my wife wish she had a different life.Later that night after the dust had settled, I poured myself a mug of pinot noir, which is what I had in mind the moment I saw these. It was a nice wine glass, honestly. The painted look gave it a wealth of colors to admire. The clear glass let me examine the red of the pinot. The capacity was just what I needed after a day of unexpected reorganizing and closet cleaning. I really enjoyed drinking from it.However, I didn't anticipate how hotly contested and polarizing these mugs would be in my home. They have to go. My nephew just got his first job out of college and he's building his life up. I texted him a picture to see if he would like them, and he was excited to accept. Thank goodness. My wife was pleased with this and promised me I could go have drinks with him at his house using these in the future. I can live with that. But I can't live with these mugs, turns out.

These glass mugs arrived today and they are very interesting-really just as pictured and described (but note-they specifically say the set is a pair, even though they have a picture of a set of four; so be aware that you get 2, not 4). They are very beautiful, sturdy glass mugs, and good sized ones. They would make a really nice gift as well. They are different from any mugs I have (or have ever had) which makes them pretty unique. I think they will be fun to serve not just with a hot beverage but maybe even a cocktail.

These are very pretty and well made I love the colors and designs of these mugs. They are not a flat printed image on glass but have texture, I don’t know if you can tell by my photos. They are actually very thick glass wise and have heft when holding in your hand. Beautiful colors that have not faded or rubbed off so I think the color of the fruits is actually inside the glass permanently not painted on the outside but I don’t know for sure exactly how they manufactured these. I do know I drink my morning black tea in these everyday and that requires placing my tea bag in the glass and heating my tea kettle to full whistling boil before I pour it into this glass. The first time I did it I was afraid the glass might shatter due to the boiling water I was adding directly to it so I placed the glass mug next to my sink on my counter top , but absolutely no problem. I have been drinking my tea every day in these mugs and they wash up perfectly, the colors have not faded at all. I do however wash them by hand because I don’t have a dishwasher. I’m the dishwasher in this old kitchen. They are beautiful! Strong , sturdy, and very well made! Boiling water every day poured into them! Not a problem! LOVE THEM!!! I will be ordering more because they look great with my table cloth so when I have friends or family over for dinner these would be great for coffee, tea, or even wine or soda!

Other reviewers have done a fantastic job of taking photos - they are exactly as they appear. I am super picky about my coffee mugs. I collect mugs from Le Creuset, my university, and some religious meme mugs because that's my field of study. These are sturdy and comfortable in the hand. They are also heavy, but not more than a sizeable ceramic-coated metal coffee mug. They come as a pair, and they are just as beautiful as they are advertised. I've run them through the dishwasher and have washed them by hand - no fading of colors from the dishwasher (as of yet), but I will stick with handwashing because the colors are lovely. Even if they do fade, the imprinted pattern is equally pretty. I cannot say anything negative since I am pleased with these mugs. They're ideal for either coffee or cocktails. :)

These beautiful mugs are made with thick glass that feels quite heavy and durable, and the edges are all very smooth. The size is perfect, and the design helps to measure out 8 oz of liquid (right at the top egde of the top strawberry). I love feeling the texture with my fingers as I am drinking. The reason I took a star off is because the paint was already scratched upon arrival. It is the same spot on both cups: the little round red berries. These were well packaged in Styrofoam, so it must have happened in manufaturing. No other spots have any chipping paint after several uses and washings, so something must have scraped against them there. I really enjoy using these, but be careful that nothing rough rubs against them.

The pair of drinking glasses look just like the product pictures on Amazon. They are of good size, 14-oz, and colorful.What I liked them most:- Beautiful 3D patterns, unique and beautiful.- Subtly colorful, but not too busy to make it look like someone spilled the paint.- The right size for my tea.- The thick glass offers some degrees of insulation to keep the tea warm.What’s not so lovable:- It’s H-E-A-V-Y! When the glass is full I cannot hold it with one hand for too long. Either I have to put it down or use both hands to hold it. This is a 0.5 star deduction so I rounded it up to 5 star. Maybe I’ll use it (with my tea in it) as a weight for my morning workout 💪😃, and as a paperweight when I worked in my office.
