Not as good as the first 2 but breathtaking nonetheless
The first installment of The Walking Dead where we met Clementine along with Lee was a solid 10/10, I simply cannot fault that game. That was followed up with Season Two, which I would rate a 9.5/10, not as engaging or as action packed, but still amazing. This season was more of an 8.5 or 9/10. SPOILERS BELOW THIS POINT.So we now have Javier as the main character that we play as, and Clem as a back character that's kind of in and out of the game and you get to control every-so-often but not for very long. I think this is a negative, because although we do feel for Javi and enjoy his storyline, it's Clem that we've built the main relationship with and I really would like to have played with her. Following on from this, in my personal game I had ended Season Two with Kenny still alive and looking after Clem and AJ. Now although Kenny wasn't many's cup of tea, I personally thought he was a brilliant character and had deliberately kept him alive to see more of him, so it was incredibly frustrating to have him killed in a flashback, and that was him gone but for a couple more tiny flashbacks. Personally I would have liked to see Kenny try to fit in with the rest of the new gang.Another negative is that I did not realise that even when preordering I would have to wait over 2 months after receiving the game before I could play all episodes, which was slightly annoying. Now onto the good stuff. There is zombie action in abundance, moving moments (including Gabe's death even though I thought he was an annoying little ****), and the storyline is enjoyable and powerful. It's completable in a day easily so it can be enjoyed all at once. Finally, the last few scenes have got me very excited for the next game, which has been confirmed. We know Clementine's story continues, but will Javi's?Excellent.

Love it!
Love this game so much already. Installation was pretty quick, the disc contains all 5 episodes of this series. The last 3 episodes needed a 2GB update each once I went online. Wait for all updates to install before you start playing or you get kicked out of the game every time one update finishes. It allows you to play a whole new game (tailor your experience with difference choices) or continue on with your saves from 'The Walking Dead Season 2' which affects Clementine's reactions/story more than anyone else's I'd say. I don't want to go too much into the game because it's really better if you play it by yourself, but it's really a level up from the previous 2 games. It's still got the comic book element to it, but graphics are more refined, fighting seems a lot less clunky, dialogue seems smoother and exploring this game feels like you're really in The Walking Dead world. You play as a whole new character, travelling on the road with his family with your own set of decisions to make that affects everyone and everything around you. There's a few members of the family you'd rather do without, but I love the balance of characters you get to deal with throughout the game. You get to play as Clementine for a brief moment during each episode. I wish it was longer, but it's nice to see a familiar face again. All in all, I think it was well worth buying if you're a real fan of The Walking Dead ttg series. I loved the first two seasons. I've played them so many times each and this game is a great new edition to my collection. I can't wait for the fourth and final season to come out this year with Clementine as the main character again! But at least I have something to keep me entertained until then.

Telltale make great games.
I love telltale I buy all of these games so I may be slightly biased. This game is great. The character development of Clementine has been really well done throughout the series. I enjoy this instalment of it can’t wait for the next one to be fully realised. I would play the walking dead series 1&2 by telltale first as this is a continuation of Clementines story. Though I suppose it could be a stand alone also.

Came slower than I would have liked as preordered and it's only just come. But great game.

Hugely disappointing
This is a disappointing game for me. Firstly, none of the characters are particularly likeable so it's hard to want to help them. Javier is a self centred cheat, Kate is selfish and shallow. If i could have left Kate behind at any point i would have done so. Inexplicably, other characters allow Javier to lead despite not having earned anyone's trust or having a real need to go with him in the first place.Secondly, there is no real action in this game nor much in the way of exploration or puzzle solving. The tension in previous games has been stripped away. I even found that some of the quick time events happened without any interaction on my part.Thirdly, the game is far too short! Previous seasons had episodes that took me up to 3 hours to complete yet i completed this entire game in one afternoon averaging about an hour for each episode.Lastly, Clementine is the only draw for this game and i think its a shame Telltale decided to make her an NPC. Clem's story is not the main focus and considering we have looked after her for the last 2 seasons this has really annoyed me. I would have much preferred to continue her journey then have met Javier and his pitiful family.
