Leg Avenue Women's Cozy Bat Shrug and Headband

Ok, so I bought this after reading reviews that were not the most impressed, but I wanted to see if I could find a way to make this work.The fabric is a fleece/polyester material, which isn’t bad, but there isn’t a ton of stretch. The fur is pretty bad. It’s not good quality and I definitely recommend getting a seam ripper and just removing it. I was able to take it off pretty easily, in about 15 minutes, and I also took off the Velcro closure. Since this is a one-size garment, the shoulders were a bit too narrow for me, and the Velcro just didn’t work. That being said, if you’re like me and are excited to craft, you can definitely go to Joann fabrics or Michael’s and find a cool cord or ribbon to sew on the ends (which is what I’m going to do) I’m also tempted to take it apart after Halloween to see if I can recreate it in a different fabric with some different dimensions.TL;DR, if you’re willing to put in some work, you can make this super wearable (but maybe avoid this if you want something ready to wear)

It worked for the day for my Halloween costume but it was not the most comfortable thing. The part that goes around your neck gets a little chokey and itchy.

The title for the review says it all. A perfect fit out of the envelope, the "costume" was ideal for an evening of moving about comfortably and socializing. For the price, it was more than expected and held up well enough that I have put it away for another year. The "ears" are a bit sad, but I combed and trimmed them and they were perfectly acceptable and comfortable, albeit a bit more like catlike than batwise. I reiterate, the value for the money--the fun and comfort of wearing were an added plus.

I am a big girl 6' 230lbs and while I am more muscle than fat, I am certainly no skinny chica. This fit me no issue, I do wish that the sleeves were a bit longer but they were only an inch or two above my wrists and I am super impressed for a one-size-fits-all product. The material does catch lint very well, but along with the ears this is not only a great deal. It made for a super easy costume that made people smile which is what I was after because unfortunately everything has sucked recently and I wanted to get a smile out of people. So many people complimented this outfit, all I did was put the shrug and ears on over a simple black dress and black compression stockings (I have to wear the stockings anyhow) will use year after year. I washed it on delicate and it came out just fine.

I bought this because my office was doing a bat theme for Halloween. I didn't want to spend a lot on it, so I wore a leotard long sleeve and a pair of black leggings and this was the hit of the party. The wings are warm, too- that matters when it's 20-30 degrees at Halloween. The ears are terrible. Don't bother. Stupid looking and the "fur" comes off all over the place.

This is a super cute costume and will be fun to wear. Fabric quality is as expected for a costume. Only complaint is that the sleeves are a bit snug on my chubby arms.

These are way over priced. The fur likes to fall out easily and it’s made with the cheapest fabric. I’d only buy them again because I couldn’t find this style of wings anywhere else.

Völlig unbrauchbar für eine Halloween Party in einem Club etc! Der Stoff ist aus dickem Filz!!Steht leider nirgends! Beim Zurücksenden unbedingt drauf achten, dass man es per Paket mit Nachverfolgung verschickt! Sonst wird behauptet, das Paket sei nie angekommen! Sitze jetzt auf über 50€ fest!
